"Lovely “old” hotel, used to be a men’s clothing store, but it has been remodelled into an exceptional place to stay in downtown Pittsfield. Our room was huge, clean, comfy beds, nice sitting area, desk area, coffee/tea area, and shelves of books! The bathroom was huge, clean, and well-supplied. There was a mini bar but we didn’t use it. Private parking in rear with direct access to hotel lobby. Staff was helpful, friendly, and professional. Great place to stay!"

"This husband and wife team really provided wonderful customer service. They called and texted me to ensure I was arriving, and they gave very clear instructions regarding check in and check out. One of the lights stopped working in the room, but it was very late at night to be able to do anything about it. They have an anti-fog option on the mirror. The room is a bit small for a family, though. Fortunately, I'm a solo traveler."

"This was like staying in a two bedroom walk up in NYC only sooooo much bigger and better! We were pleasantly surprised at the spaciousness of our Room! (The presidential suite). Everything was clean and tidy. Very pleasant decor.
While there was not a place to get coffee down in the lobby area, there was a full kitchen where we could make our own. We ended up going to Starbucks down the road a bit.
Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends. Wonderful location also!!"
