Fowey itself lies less than half a mile from your doorstep with a plethora of activities to fill your days, be it a harbour cruise, a lunch out at one of the local cafes or a day spent stand-up paddleboarding on the estuary. Pack your bags and spend a day at Whitehouse Beach (1 mile), a lovely sheltered spot which has a wonderful seawater paddling pool that is perfect for families. Avid walkers should embrace the opportunity to take a walk along the South West Coast Path, venturing past St Catherine’s Castle to Gribbin Head and over to Polkerris.
