"Basically, you are getting a facility similar to a motel, still present as Star Hotel. I have known this group for 16 years. Recently, I found that the standards and quality of this particular hotel have declined, with untrained staff and many other areas needing improvement and upgrading."

"awesome area , great place for a family, just 2 of us stayed this time but sure was nice to have a whole house to ourselves, no guests , no kids , and sadly no pets , but no responsibilities are the rewards , the pantry is stocked with spices and whatever you need pretty much,laundry facility was awesome too, we found the karaoke machine (the laundry room was great for a mini studio while we washed our clothes lol ) it was portable, the deck is great but still winter so no bbqing this trip but “the good earth chinese restaurant said our place was out of their delivery area but dilivered to us anyways for 10 that made our day so good on winnipeg you rocked thanks to our great hosts and the best chinese food this side of the real canada we had a great time even though the jets lost we had a blast at the game got seats right beside an old friend(like family) who was in for the week as well and somehow we got seats side by side with him and his grandson sec 106 row 7 seats 9, &10 for 380 , he paid 700 sometimes it pays to just be spontaneous, cheers "

"We loved this place — very cozy, very clean, and really well-appointed. The décor is lovely and makes the space feel welcoming the moment you walk in. The bed was super comfortable, and the suite was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. All the small, thoughtful touches made it feel like a home away from home. The host was very friendly and provided clear, easy-to-follow instructions for both arrival and departure. Getting around Winnipeg was simple with the transit system, and Uber was always an easy backup. Overall, a wonderful stay. We’d happily come back and highly recommend this place."

"Good location, quiet and modern. Floors were very dirty, we had to mop them. The front door needs a blind. Poor communication with Corporate Stays. It's been 12 days since we checked out and we haven't got our 1000 deposit back. "

"The whole process dealing with "Corporate Stay" is a nightmare. They do only remote (out-of-province) communication; they have no one in Winnipeg. Their instructions are ridiculously complicated with door codes and mailbox codes. FOBs for the gym were not working. Help was indicated after 3 days (we don't have anyone locally that can help right now). They charge you a huge deposit fee, which they DO NOT REFUND, unless you fill out an online form (which doesn't work), which they don't make available unless you ask where the refund is. They still have not refunded my deposit. They charge you for every little request very quickly and do not help you if there are issues. They even asked for a "Video" to show that a FOB is not opening a door (typical online stalling tactics). They are the worst company on VRBO I have been dealing with for a long time.The apartment has significant flaws. 1. It’s right next to the train tracks and you hear trains go by 24/7. 2. The in-house ventilation system is noisy and cannot be adjusted. Be prepared to use earplugs at night if you want to sleep.In addition, cleaning was superficial, with significant dust on major surfaces. Limited cutlery (3 forks only) etc.Enough said!"
