Want a little more space than a small 1 bdrm apartment or condo on the beach? Modern, renovated, and less than 1 mile to the beach. With 6 beds, 1 pull out couch and crib available, you can sleep 5 comfortably, but can sleep up to 10 if you don't mind sharing space. This house is a small two story home with well utilized space. Great for a vacation. Wall mounted TVs in 3 rooms. Great space to relax out back or upstairs on the patio. Kitchen and family area are downstairs (with a pull out couch) with access to a fenced backyard and fire pit. There are 3 separate sleeping rooms. The king bedroom has a nice king size bed and has a twin blowup bed for kids, and a small closet. This is the largest room. The second bedroom is a queen bedroom with a crib available if needed, right at the top of the stairs. Please norify in advance if you'll need a crib. The third room, is a little bunk bed room, it is small extra sleeper area, with a bottom full size mattress and an upper twin size mattress. The couch downstairs is also a pull out sleeper. This home is just across the bridge from okaloosa island, right next to the lovely downtown restaurants. The neighborhood is a little older looking but it is a great deal for the ease of access to all Destin and Fort Walton Beach have to offer.

Property is within walking distance to the downtown area, and close to Hurlburt Field. Close to the beach as well

Fort Walton Beach Stay

We had a good stay where we stayed. It was close to the beach and had good neighbors where we stayed and close to all of the grocery stores and gas stations. In a favorable location as well.

Property owner very responsive. Neighborhood looks sketchy but it’s just older. Very quiet. Location is close to everything. Property needs some work. Broken blinds, half rolls of toilet paper, backyard needs some attention. Killed 3 roaches while I was there.

Fun in Fort Walton

The townhouse was a great place to stay. Close to free beaches that were beautiful, a grocery store conveniently less than a mile away, and a quick drive to Destin.

We very much enjoyed our stay! The area was minutes away from Okaloosa beach and Destin. The neighborhood was very quiet. We had no issues getting in the place and the property manager was amazing! I can’t wait to come again.

Awesome property

Property was in a good location for us but wasn’t clean when we arrived. Dog hair on the couch and floors. Microwave still had burnt food in it. We spent a couple hours cleaning after arriving. Dryer doesn't work either. Smoke alarms were missing or batteries were removed.

This place is NOT a 3bd. The supposed 3rd bedroom is a closet with a bunk, no window, no ac, no air if door is closed. We left right away. Emailed the owner regarding false advertisement, never heard from him and it’s been a few days.

Home had not been cleaned

Home was dirty. Had to be cleaned. Dirty dishes in dishwasher and when ran it flooded kitchen floor. Stove and oven disgusting. BBQ grill had mold and fungus all over it. Bathrooms had to be cleaned. There were towels and 2 washcloths. Hot water heater had to be reset several times. Oh and did I mention roaches?? I am still waiting on a refund for cleaning fee. I guess she never told her husband. Backyard looked like a jungle. It would be a nice place if they would put money in it to improve. Like shower runs more water out of faucet than they shower. Did I mention bugs?

The entry process was a bit confusing and then there was not a key in the lock box. The cleaning person arrived over 25 minutes later to give us the keys. The ice maker for the refrigerator was leaking onto the kitchen floor where we had to place a towel. No ice was available. I would recommend more towels for 6 people. and maybe more kitchen towels and wash cloths. We had to purchase bath tissue and paper towels and trash bags for the unit. The clothes dryer was inefficient as it took almost 2 hours to dry towels. The location was easy to get to grocery stores and to access Okaloosa island and the beaches.

Great value and experience overall

Overall was very pleasant! Could have been a little cleaner and needs a little updating but you can’t beat the price and it was pretty clean overall especially for a high volume rental. Owner was very friendly and helpful giving us lots of recommendations on activities and restaurants! Very responsive to messages. I recommend staying here if you’re on a budget and still want to be close to everything.

Great location...house needs minor repairs, major updating...not sure what cleaning service they used but definitely fire them...all that aside we had a great week in Florida!
