We love Aqua Villa!!

Awesome location!

This was our first trip to Aqua Villa, but definitely NOT our last! The location just does not get any better! Only steps onto the beach! So convenient and close to shops & restaurants. We look forward to many more family vacations here in our future!

Wonderful place!

We had a wonderful time & enjoyed this condo! Having the beach so close was a blessing with us having small children!! Beautiful beach! Condo was perfect for our family. Our doggie enjoyed being able to look out even though he couldn’t go to the beach. Owners super nice! Everyone we encountered was so nice too! Would definitely stay here again!

Thanksgiving at the Beach

We enjoyed our first Thanksgiving at the beach with our adult children. You can't beat the location of Aqua Villa, you walk out your door and are right on the beach. The sunsets here are incredible! We walked to the Pier for lunch and drinks before making the trek back to the condo. Lots of beauty and wildlife to see: dolphins, sea turtle, rays, crabs, fish, pelicans and herons. Plenty of tasty food options near the condo, and we went to Harbor Walk Village to enjoy live music one night. The Shavers do a great job keeping up this condo! The furniture and beds were very comfortable and the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need for cooking in. We look forward to staying here again in the future!

Family Vacation

We loved our vacation at this condo! My husband and I took our toddler and elderly parents. The condo is on the ground floor which made it very easy to get to. The condo is clean, well decorated, and very cozy! The kitchen has everything you could possibly need. I really enjoyed the coffee pot, which was perfect to have a cup of coffee and watch the sun rise! The condo has two bedrooms with very comfortable beds (King, queen and a twin) and plenty of closet space. I was especially surprised to see both bathrooms had plenty of cabinet space and safety bars in the shower. The pool is right outside the door and is very well maintained. The beach is just a few steps from the condo with beautiful white sand. We especially enjoyed dolphin watching! We saw dolphins every day swimming along the shore! The condo is located in the perfect spot within Fort Walton, you are just minutes from a grocery store, restaurants and Destin. You can walk to a small store straight across the condo parking lot to be able to get any supplies that you could possibly need, perfect when you need another loaf of bread or more sunblock. The condo owners also had a wonderful reference book that was very handy with restaurant menus, attractions, etc. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this condo and the service of the owner! We are so pleased that I’ve already booked another trip this year! We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this condo to all!

ONLY place we'll stay!!!

We just got home from our 5th stay at this condo and we already have it booked for our 6th and 7th stay. My husband and I go every May for our anniversary and every October I go with friends for a fun girls trip. Johnny and Vee ALWAYS make sure our stay is comfortable and wonderful. The condo is always clean and perfect when we get there. It is so comfy that I call it our "home away from home". Each time we leave there we can't wait for our next trip back! The pool is right outside the door, maybe 5 steps away and the beach is about 20 steps from the door. It couldn't be any more convenient! Even though we choose to cook in the condo and dine by the pool most nights, it's great that we can choose from so many great restaurants for the other nights that are just a mile or two away! This condo has ALL the comforts of home but with the beach right outside! And with 3 big HD TVs, ceiling fans, and a brand NEW tiled walk-in shower you can enjoy being inside too! The new shower is fabulous! We absolutely love this condo, this complex, the friendly people we've met, the upgrades to the condo and the complex, the convenience, the cleanliness, the proximity to the pool and beach, and the great weather we've always experienced there. We are totally in love with this condo and wouldn't think about staying anywhere else. Johnny and Vee always make sure everything is perfect and that makes it worth every penny to book this condo. This is THE place to stay! Just don't try to get MY weeks because it's our home away from home, and we're totally spoiled and can't stay anyplace else!!!

Beat the crowds and stay here!

I almost hate to share the secret about this place. If you are looking for quiet beach, this is the place. If you want crowds, stay in Destin. If you want walk out in to morning or evening and be on the beach in 1 minute, this is it. Walk out door, around the pool, through the gate and you are on the beach. No roads to cross, no parking problem, you've arrived! Place is well furnished with ALL the kitchen accessories you could need. Great knife set, mixer, lots of pots and plans, spatulas, mixing spoons,electric griddle, if you plan on cooking, you're set. I used maybe 1/5 of the stuff and cooked most of our meals there. Beds are very comfortable, ceiling fans in each bedroom, TV's in each bedroom and living room all have cable. Wifi works great! Did you forget something, There is a Tom Thumb small store adjacent to the parking lot, walk over, walk back, 5 minutes max. You get two beach chairs and umbrella with the rental, setup each morning for you (first come, first serve), I never saw but one of the 4 or 5 sets being used. Lots of other unmentioned extras, like sand chairs, boogie board, beach sand castle toys for the kids, laundry facilities, bring quarters. We used the BBQ (charcoal) and it was so close, very nice to have. All grill scrapers, and long handled utensils are there. I left a small item there, and owner is having it sent back to me via mail. You can't beat that! Pool is great, very clean and well maintained. Being 4 feet from it, I thought it might get loud with other kids late at night, but that was never a problem. Seems like everyone who comes there is looking for a calmer place. The beach had it's share of teens one day, Clemson flags waving with some beach volleyball going on. Everyone on this beach was well behaved and very nice. We went over to Destin to see some other friends who stayed there, lots of crowds, everyone playing their own music, over priced chair and umbrella rentals. I'll be back. If you want to relax for a GREAT price, this is the place. Communication with the owner was fantastic, all questions answered in advance, and checked in to make all was well. EVERY rental should work this well!

The communication with the owners of how bad this place to get our money back

where to begin this place was the worst place I’ve ever stayed at it was dirty. The furniture was so wore out you sunk down to the ground the bed you sunk to the middle cause the mattresses were so bad. They said there was Internet and cable TV there was none. There was no blinds on the windows shelves missing out of the kitchen cupboard, so you cannot put food in it, we were due to stay for three months wound up standing seven nights asked for our money back which was over $13,000 and we still haven’t gotten our money back. The owners will not give us our money back and VROB keeps telling us they’re supposed to give us the money back, but haven’t seen anything from either VR OB, or the owners . I would never recommend this property to anyone else and they own another one at this location too manager on property is a wonderful lady named Jackie. She was so very helpful. As far as I can see these two condos should not be being used until they are updated and if you’re looking because it has a walk-in shower for a handicap person don’t stay because you can’t get a walker through any of the doors. There is no grab bars anywhere for anybody safety and you can’t get into the walk-in shower unless you walk sideways , and again like I said the places extremely filthy dust hanging from ceiling fans hanging out of vets walls all scratched up and need to be painted. No drain if you wanted to take a bath instead of a shower, no drain in the kitchen so you can wash dishes!

Clean with an excellent view

We all had a good time at your condo. Everything was just fine. Except the furniture was very uncomfortable including the high kitchen table. I am handicapped which made it hard for me. So, a week is all I would want to stay there. I loved being on the ocean and on a good day I was able to climb the steps to view it. Also the beds were very comfortable and it was nice having WI-FI.

Aqua Villa #104

We had a great time in Fort Walton. The condo we stayed at was in a great location. 2 bedroom, 2 bath. Pet friendly. Great location to pool. Just steps away from the beach. Beds were very comfortable. Plenty of room for the 3 of us. All the amenities you would need to have a great stay. Definitely will be coming back to this condo!!!

Great location, nice property, clean room!

We really enjoyed our stay on this property. It's a bit older and you can tell renters have not been kind to it but it is very clean and kept up pretty well. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen well stocked with utensils and pans and other dishware. The Wi-Fi worked well and the water pressure was good and really what more do you need at the beach? Speaking of the beach, it is absolutely stunningly gorgeous bright white sand, turquoise water, and colorful sunsets. There is plenty to do in the area although we did find out dogs are not allowed on the beach in this community. Not a big deal, we just drove down to the dog beach near Pensacola and it was wonderful. Finally, because of covid we actually had to reschedule our trip twice and the house was extremely accommodating. We were able to get away and relax and appreciate it so much!

Great views, uncomfortable room

The owners were very easy to work with and I appreciate them working with us, that's why I hate to say anything negative. But the beds, couch, and chairs were so very uncomfortable. I believe the furniture is worn out. Bathrooms are in desperate need of upgrading and repair. No bugs were noted. I think the cleaning person needs to be told to do a better job of cleaning. It does have a great location and it's just a couple steps from the pool (which was kept very clean) and maybe 100 yds or less to the beach which was absolutely kept clean and was very beautiful. We were told this condo was one of the oldest in the area so it probably is in need of remodeling throughout the complex. Some of the condos have been or are in the process of being remodeled. You can tell there has been some repairs done to the condo but not recently and not very well. My husband is an electrician and plumber plus we have flipped many houses so he recognizes a good vs bad repair job.

Building was an eye sore. Cleanliness was horrible. Did not stay. Left after one night.

Was very disappointed in this property. Will NOT book again. The cleanliness lacked by far. When pulling up to the building I was let down automatically. The building looked very rough. The only good thing is it is right on the beach. Would not recommend to anyone.

We were very happy and had a great month in the Sun! The property was just as advertised and met all of our needs. We enjoyed the beautiful beach and the other people in this building were kind, considerate and welcoming. John, the owner, was wonderful! Would not hesitate to stay here again.
