Fort Bragg with dog

Hi this was our first trip with our dog Stevie and my mom. The house was spacious for all of us and back yard was perfect for Stevie. The property had texting ability with quick responses. The shower in master was small and shower pressure was weak. Overall was the perfect location for us. Very homey. Would stay here again.

Nice place central to everything.

Cute house that was conveniently located between Ft Bragg and Mendocino. Lots of space kitchen was well stocked with everything you need for cooking. Nice area for dog walking as well. We would stay here again.

Love this getaway

We spent a 4 day vacay. In Fort Bragg. The house was comfortable and clean. We found the home to be relaxing and will return next year.

Restful getaway!

We loved this spacious property. The home has all the things we needed, and lots of nice to haves, like a dog friendly back yard. We especially enjoyed the night sky and early morning fog. We'll look forward to another visit.

Quaint cottage, lovely stay

We had a great time at the house. It was well equipped with everything we needed. We did have a few maintenance notes the owner should be aware of. The fridge is icing over and froze our food in the refrigerator. Screen door in the dining room is not on the track correctly and needs adjustment. The hot tub eyelet screw is not secured. The screw has pulled out from the deck. There is mold along the windowsills.

It was just ok.

A hot tub was listed on the property when we got there it was empty and the backyard was in the middle of construction. The kitchen needs updated utensils and knifes. There was no cleaning supplies expect for glass cleaner. There are much better places to rent then this one. The only bonus was the large backyard.

We enjoyed this home during our family getaway. We loved the coastal decor and location. It was spacious and comfortable. Checking in was easy. The hot tub was nice. Would recommend this property and would stay there again.

Peaceful Oasis

The home was very clean and well supplied. Having the fireplace prestocked with kindling was a lovely touch. Our dogs enjoyed the large backyard space (we enjoyed easily wearing them out just chucking balls in the yard, lol!). The large kitchen table allowed all of us to easily fit. It was very peaceful to sit in the hot tub with only the sound of birds and a distant foghorn. The decor was comfortable and fun, with a very Santa Cruz beach vibe. The location is perfect. 10 minutes to Mendocino, 10 minutes to Ft. Bragg, multiple state parks just minutes away.

Hot tub was not clean. Steps from porch had no lighting when dark out. Step down to den area not marked and with no lighting a falling hazard. With extremely spoty WiFi coverage, extremely difficult to communicate with management about check in and previously mentioned issues.

Great Location for Vacation

This is such a cute, clean home base for the Mendo-Fort Bragg area. The home is equipped with everything you will need. The backyard, deck and outdoor BBQ made the stay perfect. We enjoyed a little time in the hot tub too. The location is perfect for visiting the botanical gardens, dinners in Mendocino and we booked a fishing trip that left out of Noyo Harbor. Fun trip - will be back!

Great location

The house was okay. Wouldn't give it a five star. I gave the master bedroom to my brother and sister in law. The next a.m. she told me she had to go sleep in the 3rd bedroom due to the urine smell in the master bedroom. Stains on the carpet were disturbing in that room as well. We took our own backyard chairs thankfully. The location is great, the back yard is great for dogs. We keep our dogs crated in the house whenever we take them on trips. Oh, and this might seem petty, but the silverware is really unpleasant. I would bring my own. I know I am kind of picky, but it's just the truth for all of us actually.

Perfect family getaway

Perfect for our family of 5. House has a great yard, fire pit and hot tub. Only a short walk to Belinda Point beach and a 6 minute drive to Main Street. Wish we would have brought our dog . Next time !

Vacasa vs Vrbo ??? Ft Bragg dump

After renting homes from both Vrbo and Vacasa over the past nearly 20 yrs, this one was our last. While I understand the current COVID situation has changed many things, I do do not understand how I booked a house through Vrbo only for it to turn into a Vacasa rental with an extra fee for doing so! And, this home, in a terrible, run-down neighborhood did NOT have ocean views, access, proximity, as advertised. At the very last minute we gained access to the hottub, only because we were persistent. I paid extra for my very well-behaved dog only to have to clean up the poop from the previous guests. We were requested to leave garbage out on the Tues, but it was never picked up. The mailbox was overflowing. A rug in the TV area was urine-saturated. As longtime, trusting customers, we were terribly disappointed. Like I said, we will not use either of these services again.

Great 3 bedroom home With a big yard and good outdoor entertaining space. In country but close.

Enjoyable space with outdoor entertainment options, good location if you want to enjoy all of Fort Bragg in the Mendocino area!

Coastal vacation

The 3 bedroom house was spotless and had a fully equipped kitchen, including pizza pan, turkey roasting pan, etc., any pan or utensil you would need. The king bed was comfortable and it was extra nice to have 2 full baths. It had a large yard for our dog, but without a fence we tethered her to a tree with a long leash so we could still play fetch with her, without her running off after a deer or other animal. There were other amenities we didn't use - the hot tub was off limits because of the virus, and we didn't use the nice fire pit in the back yard or the wood stove in the family room. The location was convenient for Ft. Bragg and Mendocino, and all the beautiful coastal areas in between.

Close to everything

Yard area needs landscaping and clean up! Grass 2-3 feet tall and dog droppings from previous guests throughout. Hot tub was dirty and over chlorinated on arrival. Other than these issues the house suited our needs. Sitting on the deck was nice and the movie and music selection was cool. Cute little woodstove we used both nights. Visited Belinda Point while here. Easy beautiful walk to a private rocky beach.
