「The Lovat at Loch Ness is a charming and stylish lakeside hotel. The property has two lovely lounges, even a grand piano, and is equipped with an elevator — a thoughtful touch. Our room was spacious, bright, and very comfortable. Breakfast was a highlight: besides the classic Highland Breakfast, we tried the Kedgeree (smoked haddock with curried rice and poached egg), which was absolutely delicious and a wonderful Scottish surprise. The hotel’s location in Fort Augustus adds to the experience....

「We only stayed here one night. The cabin was clean and we were presented with some excellent snacks. It was a little small for three adults but would be perfect for a couple. As with most places in Scotland, there is no air conditioning and it was unseasonably warm when we arrived. Thankfully there was a fan to use and during the night it cooled off. It's an easy walk down hill to Fort Augustus and a view of Loch Ness. Our hosts were very kind. The unit is a cabin in their back yard, so you feel...
