「Arrived to find the place locked up and had to make a phone call for someone to come to the pub to give us our room key. Apparently there was a problem of having no electricity due to the heat. No evening meal available and no bar; breakfast was average, with some folk having to wait a long time for service. The place was clean and room was comfortable.」

「We had a pleasant stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a short visit. It's a simple, no-frills place with basic amenities, but it delivered exactly what we expected. Don't judge a book by its cover. The room is renovated and unique. 「If you're visiting Duxford Imperial War Museum, or Cambridge, you won't find a better place to stay.
Cambridge and the Duxford Airfield and Museum are only 30 minutes away, with very light traffic most of the time. The motel-like accommodation is great, clean and modern with everything you need. The staff are very affable, and the food is simple but very good.
And of course there's a well-stocked bar.
The prices are very keen, and there is a large car park. What more could you want?」
