The Florentine Renaissance (Duomo)

The apartment is located in the best area of Florence for visiting Museums, Churches, Monuments and shops, and it is surrounded by good eateries. Just steps away from the Duomo, Michelangelo's Medici Chapels, and the charming Ponte Vecchio. Everything is within easy walking distance, making a car and public transport unnecessary. Built between the 1300s and the 1500s, the apartment has terracotta floors and ancient oak-beamed ceilings, has a large bedroom with a double and a single bed, and a large entrance room with an additional double sofabed which can be seen in the photos.
The bathroom is small and basic with toilet, shower and sink. The kitchen is well equipped with everything necessary for self catering in comfort, including a coffee maker, kettle, microwave oven and washing machine. This area also comprises a dining area with a large table and comfortable chairs. The apartment offers high-speed internet access, heating and air conditioning.

Excellent property with plenty of space

Wonderful stay! Great amount of space, AC worked very well. Checkin was easy and informative, and location was easy to walk to Duomo and restaurants. We'd definitely stay again!

Great location in Florence

We loved our stay at Fabrizios property/ great location, very close to all the sights, a few blocks away from the mercato central for fantastic food- Grazie mille!

Fabrizio and Diego were wonderful hosts. They were very responsive to any problems we had. We booked one of Fabrizio’s day trips to Lucca and Pisa. It was fantastic! The trip also included lunch and a wine tasting from a family run winery in Monte Carlo. Both wine and lunch were delicious! We would highly recommend both the unique property and caring and thoughtful hosts.

Our stay was absolutely amazing. Fabrizio and Diego were very kind and friendly. Check in was easy and thorough with Diego providing us all directions. Location was great and very walkable. The place offered all needed amenities (I.e., washer & dryer, AC, and even a lift!) Only hang ups are the amount of stairs and the tiny bathroom. Otherwise, fantastic place!

Perfect stay in Firenze

Loved our stay! Communication was great and the location was perfect for wandering around, shopping and access to the train. Very early wake up calls with workmen got us up and ready without an alarm🙂

Diego was super and very responsive.

A great spot on a very safe street in a fantastic location. We were a family of 4 and the only small issue would be the bathroom is tiny, otherwise fantastic and we’d stay here again.

Fantastic Florence Find!

My friend and I stayed at this property for a week and it was perfect. It has a chic and historic vibe, and the location couldn’t be better. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go in town and felt safe doing so from the location. Diego helped us get settled and brought us bread for breakfast, and the host provided wine as well. We loved our stay here and would absolutely book again!

What a unique spot right in the heart of Florence!!

This place is perfectly situated in one of the best parts of Florence. We were able to walk EVERYWHERE, even with 3 kids. There was also a helpful supermarket around the corner for basics and a contact who was there for us at any point of the stay if we had questions or needed recommendations. We loved it!!

Spectacular Location

Close to the train station and the Duomo. The livingroom and bedroom are very big but the bathroom is very small. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. It was great to have the elevator to bring our luggage up. The small shower was a challenge for us as we are both tall.The hosts are helpful and communication was excellent.

Firenze San Lorenzo

Fabrizo's home was spacious for my husband and me. The bathroom was very small but it had the best water pressure on our month long excursion to Italy. Centrally located to everything, Central Market, Duomo, Ponte Vecchio and train station. Lots of wonderful restaurants! Highly recommend! We thoroughly enjoyed Our week in Florence! Carol and Dan

A Gem in Florence

I can’t say enough how amazing our stay at Fabrizio’s apartment was. It is walking distance to everything, the decor is amazing, and Fabrizio himself was wonderful! He even took us on a trip out into the country with a wine tour which we thoroughly enjoyed If you have the opportunity to stay here while you’re in Florence, you won’t regret jumping at the chance. Great location; comfortable apartment.

We thoroughly enjoyed are stay at the Florentine Renaisance. The location is great near the Medicare Square and Duomo yet quiet. Plenty of room; good bed and sufficient kitchen. Communication and help from property manager was great. The one drawback was the tiny bathroom with the juxtaposition of the toilet and shower sharing space separated by a shower curtain. It was awkward but doable.

Heart of Florence

Fabulous location within walking distance to everything. Only two small drawbacks. A very tiny bathroom with toilet and shower area combined and the street is very noisy at night. We shut the windows after the first night and it was fine. A lovely apartment and super clean. The bed is very comfortable and large!

Good bed with small kid bed. A/C very cold with 2 fans also provided. Small kitchen and small bathroom. TV is also laughable but cozy unit with character and prime location. Be prepared to go up 5 flights of stairs

A really great stay!

Fabrizio is very nice and helpful. He took good care of our needs. Location, location, location is perfect. Walking distance to just about all the sights and it is on a side street so there is limited noise and not much vehicle traffic. Plenty of street ligh The apartment is larger than most we have stayed in and is eclectic. There is an elevator but you still have to walk about 12 stairs to get to the apartment. We definitely recommend this apartment and the owner!

Exceeded Expectations

I cannot say enough about our three nights spent at The Florentine Renaissance (Duomo). The host was very accommodating and went out of their way to take care of us. My wife & I loved the eclectic, quirky interior design which was very spacious and comfortable. The location was perfect for walking to any location throughout the city of Florence. If you are able to book one of the private tours offered by the host, Fabrizio, do not hesitate. Fabrizio is a gem and a true Italian Gentleman. He took my wife & I on a private tour through the Chianti region visiting small villages for shopping and cappuccinos as well as unique private wine tours. This was one of the highlights of our ten day trip to Italy and Fabrizio's kind spirit, knowledge of the area and connections to the locals exceeded our expectations for the day. We cannot thank him enough.
