The building and room were very well maintained and clean. Nice quiet place to rest. Close to everything and we walked easily everywhere. Great place and location. Would stay there again.

The property itself was well presented and clean and service from the virtual reception was friendly and helpful. It is very close the main sights but I have reduced mobility and the steep hill was a huge challenge. Unfortunately it was advertised as having a roof terrace in the overall property details when in fact there is only one terrace and that is part of the penthouse flat. It also said that there was a concierge and limo and town car service which wasn't the case and would have been useful when confronted with a transport strike. However, if you are fit and clear about what comes with your room I would definitely recommend it as a place to stay.

Beautiful, spelled wonderful and interesting property (old bell tower). ONLY a couple thongs to know, not easy to get cab/uber and be prepared to walk a lot of stairs and uphill. We didn't mind but some may.

Great location for a city break in Florence. Spotlessly clean and well equipped apartment. Although booked with self checkin, this faceless approach is shown wanting when small issues arise, especially with language barriers. Overall great place and we had a great stay! The housekeeping team were truly helpful.

A great location as a home base for Florence. All of the major attractions were within a 25 minute walk, with most less than 15 minutes away. There is a great little grocery store very close by as well as many restaurants, shopping and gelato shops. I stayed in the Studiolo (for solo travelers) and was very impressed with the cleanliness. It had everything I needed and it felt like a safe neighborhood. Communication and service was excellent. The studio apartment is on the ground floor, just off the lobby, so no view of Florence, and there is the noise of people arriving and leaving the building. On arrival, I took the T2 Tram from the airport and walked from the stop at Santa Maria Novella in the Center of Florence in about 22 minutes. Overall, I rated this stay a 10/10 and would happily book here again.

This property and our view of the city was amazing! It is a hike to walk up four flights of steps (after a steep but small road) but definitely worth it to stay in the il Camino room (or the Miraggio nexts door). Our room was a two story loft with stunning views of Florence. Plus it had an extra half bath, which is great for couples. Our room did not have a balcony but the room next door does. It’s centrally located right off the main path on the Oltrarno and the Ponte Vecchio. Definitely recommend this place for the location, Air Conditioning and amenities.

Was a little challenging logging into the WiFi on the front end but went pretty smooth after that. Stairs could Be described better so those who can’t tell from The picture how steep they are might need to reconsider.

This is a great place to stay when in Florence! The hotel is exquisitely decorated, location is unbearable and the room was very comfortable and spacious. The amenities supplied by the hotel are similar to those of a 5 star hotel. The only negative is that if you drive a car, to locate the hotel is not as straight forward and there is no parking nearby. There are garages nearby but you have to reserve in advance and in our case, had to look for one farther away since the one nearby was fully booked. Definitely a gem that I highly recommend for your stay in Florence. Enjoy!

My only issue with this place is lack of any communication and access . We booked this property early on and received terrible instructions , the link to enter passports didn’t work , the phone number was NOT CORRECT , the messages to property were not answered ! We spent 3 days on Expedia trying to get a hold of the property as they needed our passports for check in ! We almost cancelled as we couldn’t reach anyone . Then finally we got the right number but the phone connection was bad , then we had to connect on what’s up Finally when we arrived , one of the beds had no linens , which is not an issue as this was quickly resolved However there was the issue of getting to this property - WARNING - property on a huge narrow hill , our taxi van could not get there as construction blocked the way . We had to haul 4 suitcases up cobblestones and then down again , that was a nightmare as one of the wheels on our luggage was not up to task . Elderly people should not attempt this hill with luggage unless they want to end up in emergency room Also Property has a useless elevator that only goes one flight and narrow steep stairs … The view was amazing but lack of communication really was an issue . Also on last day the city turned off our water while one of us was mid shower If you are fit , and don’t care about stairs and other inconveniences then you will love this place
