We had a great stay at this apartment. Paolo was a very responsive host, and helped me make a taxi reservation for our return to the airport. The apartment was very clean and comfortable, with a fully stocked kitchen and plenty of entertainment options (TV, VCR, DVD player). There are air conditioners in both the main bedroom and the living room. There is not an air conditioner in the front bedroom, but there was enough cool air coming from the living room that it was very comfortable to sleep in there with the fan on.
From the listing, I thought the front bedroom had a futon for a bed. Much to our happy surprise, the futon was still in sofa form and there was also a different large bed in the room. I also had concerns about the front bedroom being noisy at night since the windows are directly above and across from the market stalls. With the fan on, we heard very little disturbance from the street, and most of the street vendors pack up by about 8:00 pm anyway.
The bathroom is large and spacious. Although the shower is small, it has excellent water pressure and plenty of hot water. There is also a washer/dryer unit in the kitchen. We couldn't figure out how to use it, but it's there. You may have to be smarter than the appliance!
We thought the location was perfect, and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again when we return to Florence. We stayed four nights, and we loved our morning routine of getting breakfast at the market across the street.
