"This house was perfect for our family to gather for Thanksgiving. The space on the first level was perfect for the kids to hang out. The kitchen was well stocked to prepare our Thanksgiving dinner. "Kitchen was fully equipped. Hot tub was very nice. Beds comfy. Very clean. Only thing was the listing did not show a pet fee of 175, BUT with communication from the realty company, they waived it for us since its NOT in the listing at all. Did you know you can book directly with Reaort Realty and save yourself 10%! I didnt! I love VRBO but that really sucked to learn that. SO go directly to the company website "

"I am so glad i found the FCI for our first trip to the Outer Banks. We really enjoyed our six night stay there during the last week of October. Our room was perfect for us and the yummy hot breakfast every morning was amazing. We chose a historic inn rather than a hotel or airbnb because we like the more personal touch an Inn provides. Lisa, the innkeeper, was very helpful and friendly. Beth, the Manager and breakfast chef was super hospitable. With the beach just a short walk away...we could not have asked for a better value stay on the OBX. We will definitely stay there again on our next trip."

"The bungalow is nicely appointed. It is clean and offered us what we needed. The fact it sits right on Route 12, please note if you’re a light sleeper the traffic may be a nuisance. Take earplugs. It is nicely located for so many places to eat, state parks, lighthouses, and more. "
