「We had a lovely short stay at Macbeth’s Hillock. The cottage was clean, cosy and comfortable, with everything we needed. We mainly stayed there overnight while travelling, but I also cooked dinner there, which worked very well. The location is peaceful, close to local sights, and right next to a farm with beautiful sheep, which made the stay feel even more charming. A very pleasant place for our short stay.」

She gave us a great recommendation for a restaurant within walking distance and it turned out to be a lovely suggestion. The home is well kept! 「Everything was exceptional. The hospitality from Graham and Sheena was second to none. We got lost our first night out and after a quick call, Graham got us back on track and was actually on his way out to find us when we turned up the drive! That is the level of hospitality provided. 「通りからのドアの開け方が難しいです。たまたま近くに人がいたので教えてもらえましたが、いなかったら開け方がわかりませんでした。また、そのドアから宿の入口までの道が汚いです。ただ、部屋の中は清潔でした。トイレットペーパーが足りていませんでしたが、ホストに連絡をしたら補充してくれました。共有のキッチンがあったのはありがたかったです。総体的にコスパはいいと思いました。」
