"Wasn't thrilled with check in staff. He told me I wouldn't be happy with the room I wanted because it was a pet friendly room and they dont clean it that well compared to the others. I knew that I asked for pet friendly because I wanted to walk out onto the grass. He said I would be back to switch out to 2nd floor and that was ok. The room was fine, no issues. Just irritated me that he would say something like that and put in your head that you are not staying in a clean room. Room was dated but just fine. Maybe upgrade the bed."

"Skamania Lodge sits in a beautiful setting, is well maintained, and enjoyable. The rooms are a little pricey but the rooms are very comfortable and clean. When I received my receipt, I was surprised to see a charge of $39 for a Resort Amenity Fee; I am not sure what the "amenities" were. Since we travel with a small, well behaved dog I was also surprised by a $75 pet fee. I had thought maybe a $50 fee, but $75 seemed out of line. Other than these fees, we enjoyed our stay, felt safe and had a nice meal in the Cascade Room."

"We enjoyed our cabin stay. There is a kitchenette, refrigerator, shower, heat, A/C in the cabin. (The description online didn't capture all the amenities.) Having some tea and hot cocoa provided along with firewood was a nice touch. The bed was comfortable. This was a glamping experience - good for a couple. No space for more than 2 people. We would recommend and return!"
