"There were bugs in the room, the kitchen utensils were not clean, there was not enough lighting. When reported issue to front end no one came to fix the problem. Had to checkout one day in advance. "

"Really have to thank the staff for being so friendly and responsive to everything. Every person that we interacted with really made the whole experience excellent. It was unfortunate that we were only there for one evening and the toilet in our room continued to run even after use. A small inconvenience, but an inconvenience none the less. Should also be noted that parking isn't free and the location to park is in a downstairs garage. I found a stairwell that made the trips to and from shorter than they could have been, but, had I not found it, the trips would have taken some time. The design of the place, though nice with some great areas to relax, is a bit of a maze. The location of the hotel is also not particularly close to anything. Short car rides, but nothing really in walking distance (we Ubered everywhere). In general, though, if given the opportunity, we'd definitely stay here again."

"Extremely well located in Santa Barbara Mission Canyon very close to the Natural History Museum, Rocky Nook Park and the Mission. Easy walk to all three. Beautiful old house surrounded by very large, very old oak trees, sycamores and other lush green vegetation. Beautiful decks and patios. Excellent large private hot tub. Incredibly well stocked kitchen. Hundreds of interesting books. Very comfortable, quiet bedrooms. Close to everything in Santa Barbara. Parking on site along the street in front of the house. Owner is very responsive. A wonderful place for our family vacation: 2 grandparents; 2 parents and 2 little kids. "
