Just a few steps out of the back door and you will find yourself on the shores of Lake Michigan. Located within a short drive of both Saugatuck and South Haven, this home makes it easy to enjoy shopping, dining, and nearby art galleries. Take a drive north to get your toes in the sand or enjoy a picnic by the water at Douglas Beach Park, just 11 miles north.

The location of this property could not be better! The sunset views, relaxing sounds of the lake waves and the crystal clear water was exactly what we needed for our girls weekend of relaxaction!

Beautiful property

Enjoyed every bit of the weekend at this lakeshore cottage. The property is stunning and felt remote. The waves were simply beautiful - sounds were so calming. We all really can’t wait to come back! Next time we would like to try warmer weather!

Loved it!

Just celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary in your house and it was just what we needed! The view was unbelievable and the house was cozy, quiet and clean. We ventured out to South Haven and Saugatuck, and enjoyed both towns. It was our first time in the area, and we will definitely be coming back. Would love to stay at your adorable cottage again! Wonderfully relaxing

Stunning views, quiet location, house was very clean and well-stocked. Only 3 things to note for property owner: hot tub had perhaps too much chlorine in it-the smell was overpowering, no wifi or tv connection-actually was a refreshing change for us but might be an inconvenience for others, also sliding back door is very difficult to open and close. But gorgeous property!!! We will return!

Not a beach but still great.

If you’re looking for a sandy private beach to sit by the water this isn’t the place. However the porch is great, if in need of some repairs, and the views are fantastic. The living space is very large and the kitchen is nice enough. The house itself is very private, sitting on the end of the road and it’s very quiet. Wouldn’t recommend if you have kids, it wouldn’t be safe but for a girls trip it worked well.

Good little cottage

This is a great location next to the lake and a cute little cottage. However some maintenance is needed on the sliding glass doors, they are hard to open and close. Love the access to the lake. Hot tub was great. A downside is with the fees you pay for cleaning I feel like the cleanliness fell short. We had mouse droppings upon arrival on the counter and stove, fruit flies flying around as well as significant amount of spiderwebs and spiders collecting said fruit flies. All in all location is great but some things to be spruced up.

Beautiful view

It was such a quaint little home with a stunning view and relaxing hot tub! It needed cleaned better after last guest (we were covered in dog hair after sitting on couches) also no internet at all. We couldn’t listen to music, watch tv or even look up any local attractions because we had no internet or cell service. Beds were not the most comfortable. It is really just the view location and hot tub that win!

Not what I expected, I thought I could walk out to the beach and water long the water. Had issues with the telecom services, no wifi no internet, no tv for 4 days. Also no radio. A very quiet week, bring books, kindle or dvds.

Is the view worth the price?

Yes, it's worth the price, but with what they charge, why isn't it being cleaned and updated? The porch is almost dangerous, with boards sinking in. The carpet is stained and looks gross. Updates are badly needed! Also, the hot tub was full of sand and pretty dirty. But, the view was amazing, for sure.

Sunsets

This property is a treasure. The house is at a dead end, giving enormous privacy to us as guests. There are multiple amenities such as a great fire pit, a grill with two tanks of propane, a hot tub, patio seating, access to wifi and streaming services. Some things are dated but this contributes to the charm and the home owners are clearly making efforts to update the property. There is a brand new coach with doubles as extra seating, new bar stools and new dining room chairs which brighten up the space. Our biggest complaint is that the sliding doors are very difficult to open. Lubricant at the top and the base would be super helpful. And the kitchen towels need to be replaced. having a stack of kitchen towels would cut down significantly on the number of paper towels we had to use.
