The Historic Summit Inn
10/10 Excellent
"First time we stayed at The Sumit Inn and it was wonderful. The Staff was super friendly and accommodating. The room while not exceptionally large was very clean and well-kept the bed was very comfortable and even the shower spray satisfied my husband's strict requirements. The pools both indoor and outdoor were very clean and well maintained and the hot tub was fabulous. The grounds were exceptional and the overall feel of the vintage hotel ambiance was very much to our liking. The only complaint we had was the breakfast at Mae's restaurant left us with something to be desired. The small portions and quality of the food especially the potatoes and sausage were not up to my husband's strict requirements."

"Nice large modern rooms, but there was nobody at check-in to check us in. We had to go looking for them and they were in the bar. The bar had basic food. I really enjoy going to swimming pools and Jacuzzi’s hot tubs, but apparently some guests had broken the swimming pool. How does that even happen so the part they needed to fix the swimming pool was on backorder, so there was less to do. if you like jogging, you can jog along all of the golf paths. if you love golf it’s an ideal place for you to go."

"Quiet. Away from everything. Which for me, was preferable. Not a bad hotel by any means, but the rooms could use some work, carpet is worn and doesn't feel great. Pillows were incredibly flat. Shower head and pressure wasn't great. No major concerns. For the price, Id stay again. Staff was friendly when you could actually find them."
