"We spent a week at the Kronprinz Hotel in Falkensee in September 2014, and were very pleased with the accommodations. The location was approximately 20-30 minutes from downtown Berlin by train, which was a 15 minute walk from the Hotel. Since we didn't want to drive in the downtown Berlin traffic, this worked out quite well. Great hotel, pleasant surprise.
"Literally next to main station. My room faced the courtyard and had no noise at all. Which I value. Also, the rooms in the first floor require using your key card to get in the hallway of the rooms, adding extra security. The breakfast is buffet with a very large variety of options. It may get crowded and there could be a line to get in at certain peak times. It is not far by foot from the main attractions - 20 min or so to the Brandenburg Gate and then start touring. Most certainly would stay again - if they keep their prices affordable. "
