"Huahine is a beautiful island, much quieter and less developed than Moorea or Bora Bora. There are only two properties on Huahine in this category - the other one is Le Mahana. Both are excellent. "
Nature lover's paradise ~ Lovely home + car w/ private beach & great snorkeling!
10/10 Excellent
"The hosts are the most delightful, helpful, friendly people! They have a deep appreciation for the land, water, and people of Huahine which was a special insight for us. Fantastic location, beautiful gardens, very comfortable house with all that’s really needed in an authentic island setting. "
Cozy Oceanfront Villa with Private Pool & Stunning Moonrise Views
10/10 Excellent
"Absolutely stunning property. The pictures don’t do it justice and how aesthetic and well thought out this property is. The attention to detail for all aspects is incredible and everything is well thought out and of high quality (the towels were amazing). Abigail was great at communicating and making sure we had everything. Having use of the washing machine/dryer, snorkel gear and the kayaks was also a major bonus. We loved the quiet location that was surrounded by lush forest and ocean access. With kayak access to Hana Iti. We really felt at home here. Would definitely come back! "
This is the DREAM HOUSE! Breathtaking luxury beach front house. Get sandy!
10/10 Excellent
"This day at this property was absolutely over the top. The location on the beach provides easy access to a great snorkeling area and short walk to town. The host was attentive and responsive to our needs. we would definitely rent this location again"
"We had an amazing time in Huahine! Before arriving the host was helpful, and made sure a crib was set up for our baby. She also dropped off beach towels when we saw there weren't any. The location is truly incredible--walking distance to restaurants, the beach, and market. The air conditioning in the bedrooms was lovely and we enjoyed sitting on the deck in the evening. However, the photos make the property seem bigger and more modern than it is. The first floor is mostly a cement garage that had not been tidied. There was also a large bedroom and shower downstairs. Upstairs there is a kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, and living room. We did not use the tub/shower upstairs as there was an issue with it. The house was sparsely furnished and had not been cleaned throughly. There were a few dead bugs, lots of spiderwebs, and stains throughout. There are multiple other houses on the street, which is different than what the photo looks like. Overall the house was conveniently located, spacious, and did the job. However, some small touch ups, a deep clean, and a few necessities (beach towels, paper towels, etc) would have made the experience better."
"Nice little house, clean, well equipped kitchen, basic accommodation that is in a great location to walk to town and the beach. Great snorkeling right off the beach! We’d definitely stay again!"
"Great location. Can snorkel directly from the incredible beach. Only negative is the food. Primarily all French with little to no American food. In fact we were the only Americans staying at the hotel. Language challenge was a bit of a problem in the dining room. Overall it was a very good experience. "
"We stayed at this home for a little under a week and it was perfect. :) Great location in the bay. Felt magical in the mornings and I like how it's a little tucked away from the main road. Kayaking to the Motu was fun, snorkeling was good too. We saw a couple sea turtles and many different fish. House was is great condition. Property manager was extremely helpful and provided recommendations like the local Heiva we attended. Very cool. Would definitely recommend this place and stay here again in the future."
Potter's House Tsukamoto
An artist house with a beautiful view in the lagoon
10/10 Excellent
"This is a beautiful house in a picturesque tranquil location. The host was very helpful, provided useful advice for our stay, quickly responded to any questions we had, helped to rent a car locally for a reasonable price, as well as gave a discount and a free boat ride to pottery/ pearl shop in the motu. Location is convenient and views from the house are breathtaking (pictures don’t make it justice). The house is well equipped and well maintained, including a washing machine and a tumble dryer, all in the good order. Bed linen is hotel quality, perfectly ironed. We were due to arrive early and Peter allowed us to check a few hours before 3 PM/ official check in time (unfortunately our flight was delayed last second so we arrived later than expected). Overall, an excellent stay and fantastic host, we would love to come back again. Thank you very much! "
