Charming Historic 3-Bedroom Home Just One Block from Humboldt Bay – Walk to Shops & Restaurants
Welcome to the Campton House — a charming and historic three-bedroom home built in 1914! Lovingly owned by three sisters, each bedroom is named after their middle names. The Davis Room features a king-size bed with an optional cot for additional sleeping space. The Jewett Room offers a cozy queen bed and its own private full bathroom, while the Lindley Room also includes a comfortable queen bed. For extra guests, there’s a full-size sofa bed in the living room. Inside, you'll find a formal dining room, a second casual dining area, a fully equipped kitchen perfect for preparing meals, and a welcoming living room ideal for unwinding after a day exploring Old Town Eureka. The Campton House beautifully blends its historic charm with all the modern comforts you need for a relaxing stay. No parties or events. No smoking or vaping.
The neighborhood is in a good walking area, but a little desolate. The heating, cleanliness, water pressure, WiFi were all great. The kitchen was basic and the neighborhood didn’t have amazing food options, but it was a great launching pad for exploring Arcata, Clam Beach, Trinidad and the state parks.
