Overall we had a great stay at Notchtop. The bedrooms were nice and clean, with plenty of drawers/closets to unpack everything. The view was great for sunrises, and we did see some deer/elk early in the morning from the deck. The bedrooms do face east, so the early morning sun can come in pretty strongly through the curtains. The kitchen was equipped well enough to make a few meals. The dishwasher seemed to work fine. We made use of the washer/dryer combo as well. The condo did seem to stay a bit on the warmer side, likely due to being the top floor. We opened the bedroom doors and a front window in the evening to cool things down quickly, rather than use the AC units.Mary's Lake is a convenient location, with easy access to both Rocky Mountain National Park and to the east side of downtown Estes Park. We never had an issue finding a close parking spot with the nearby construction, but it is limited. We did have a truck parked directly in front of the condo entrance a few mornings due to a full lot.Renee responded quickly to the few messages we did need to send while staying, and reminded us regarding timed entry shortly after we made our reservation.
