Seascape Beach House

Seascape is a purpose built beach holiday house. The house is located in a bush setting approximately 300m from West Beach and about 3km from the town centre. Seascape was passive solar designed to capture the winter sun and shield the outdoor living area from the prevailing south easterly and south westerly winds. Seascape is off grid and both our place and Seascape are powered by solar with a generator backup for when the sun doesn't shine. The house is also on rain water.
The house has an open plan design with a spacious airy feel. The open plan living area and spacious outdoor courtyard is ideal for social interaction and entertaining.
The house has a fully contained kitchen, with breakfast bar, and dining table with a high chair, 2 comfortable lounges with a tile fire and ceiling fans. Seascape has a flat screen TV, DVD, stereo, games, books and movies for your comfort. Seascape has one bathroom, with a shower, a two person bath, separate toilet, and laundry with a washing machine.

Bedroom configuration

Seascape has 3 large bedrooms with lots of storage space and comfortable bedding. Two of these are set up with queen size beds, and the third is set up with two single beds. All linen and bath towels are supplied.

Outdoor area

Outdoors is a large enclosed courtyard with BBQ, large outdoor dining setting and sun lounges. There is also a second hot/cold shower in the courtyard for your convenience returning from the beach. There is a grassed area for children to play on off the side of the courtyard where you will find a clothesline. There is plenty of bush are to explore and walk/ bike trails to follow along the beaches.

Great place to stay

Perfect for a winter get away with wood fire and plenty of wood provided. Would be great to experience in summer as so close to the coast and beaches.

Lovely Spot – Best Enjoyed in Warmer Weather

We enjoyed our stay overall! The property was clean, tidy, and well looked after, and the owner was friendly and easy to deal with. The location was really nice—just a short walk to the beach—but it would definitely be a better pick in the summer, as the house was quite cold during the nights in winter. Still, a lovely spot and a comfortable place to stay.

Home away from home

Fabulous, clean, modern and spacious holiday house. Just a short drive to Esperance's beautiful beaches. A sign post for Dunn Street would have made it easier to find. Thanks for a lovely stay Sean & Sharon.

Esperance Escape

The property was well laid out, close to west beach and a small drive to the city centre.The property is solar powered with limitations on usage which I did not realise or read.Overall a very peaceful and enjoyable stay

Quiet peaceful retreat

Absolutely loved staying at Seascape. We had travelled and roughed it a bit over the Nullarbor from Gippsland Vic and were glad to have a proper house to stay in and do some washing and have a quiet comfortable rest. Unfortunately we had alot of rainy days but we were able to stay nice and warm with adequate amount of firewood ready to go. House was well equipped with everything can think of. And only 1 minute to the beach by car. A beauitful coast line too. Thankyou for our stay

Great Location

Wonderful house close to all the beaches and easy access to both the town and the Great Ocean Drive. There was no mention in the property details of the possibly difficult driveway from the road which was ok but would have been easier in a 4WD vehicle. Sean popped by to say hello and to make sure we were ok. Would have been nice to have a light over the stovetop, but luckily we had head torches. Would highly recommend this place

Good option in Esperance

Easy check in and good communication with owners. When a couple of issues arose, they were fixed immediately. Would have been good if we knew beforehand we were unable to use the fireplace which made sense because of drought... however there was no other heating. Otherwise, the house was lovely, had everything we needed - great bbq, good layout, clean, quiet location and would recommend.

Esperance Seascape Beach House

This unit is nice and cosy, even in winter and despite off grid and supported by solar backup generator. Power off, perhaps due to thunder storm in the night but came back almost immediately. We are fine with these, and Sean attended very fast and prompt in reply us. The fire place is efficient and cosy, heating up the place well. My family, with my mum of 83 enjoyed our stay. The Great Ocean Drive and the Le Grand National Park, Lucky Bay are superb and excellent, don’t miss them. We would like to express thank you to Sean for the great experience and great stay.
