Blaine Creek Log Cabin with Spectacular views!
A true Montana get away, this cabin is everything you could want to experience southwestern Montana. Halfway between The Bozeman airport and Yellowstone National Park and just minutes away from Varney Bridge and the award winning Madison River, relax and get away from it all! Thoughtful decor and the warm honey logs make you feel right at home. Listen to the creek babble outside your window and be swept away in Montanas beauty. The log home is perfectly set up for a family, 2 couples, or if you are interested in more space, there is a separate apartment above the garage that will sleep 4 more people with a bathroom making it the perfect option for 2 families or a slightly larger group.
On the main floor of the cabin there is a spacious living room with a desk looking out to the mountains, a kitchen with a double wall oven and induction cook top, eating area, full large bathroom, bedroom with a queen sized bed, and a wonderful sunroom that over looks Blaine Spring Creek! The perfect place to have your coffee and relax before a day of fishing. The large open loft area has another bed and room for your luggage. The unfinished basement area has new front loading washers and dryers and room for storing your fishing gear after a day on the river. The large covered porch allows you to relax and get away from the heat of a summers day.
As long as burning restrictions allow, there is a beautiful park like setting a short walk down the hill complete with a rock firepit and plenty of seating to make s'mores or just talk about your trip (or make plans to come back). This property is also set up to bring horses along and the property is fenced with a lean to for horses.

We enjoyed our stay. It was a great location for trip. We were a little confused about the arrangements. We thought we had 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. The cabin only had 2 bedrooms and 1 bath. The other bedroom and bath were located in the accommodations over the garage. We had invited additional family to join us. So it would have been a surprise to find out the 3rd bedroom and other bath were 30 yards away. The cabin worked well for our family of three.
The cabin was incredible. The views were stunning and the cabin was very well equipped. Heather was easy to reach and very responsive. Incredible sunrise/sunsets.I would highly recommend the Blaine Creek Cabin!
awesome place to stay. beautiful cabin, excellent views, and well stocked. loved the area by the creek, great for campfires, horseshoes and playing in the water. would highly recommend.
Our stay at the Shining Mountains cabin couldn't have been more perfect. The quaint cabin had a beautiful view of the mountains. The sunrises and sunsets were spectacular. We loved drinking our coffee on the sun porch early in the morning. Although we didn't spend as much time as we would have liked at the cabin,it was the perfect size for the 6 of us. We would love to stay there again and would definitely recommend it.
The rental was top notch for a log cabin built in 1980. Very well maintained on the inside and out. Yard area could use some help with the tall grass and weeds off the sunroom and pasture to the east. Light flashy fuels up against a log cabin wouldn't go well if and when a vegetation fire occurred.
