"Bathroom floor was dirty. Bugs on window sill & dead beetle on “office” chair. Draperies hanging off the hooks so had to fix a few in order to close. Only plus was washcloths & towels were new & nice shower head!"

"Everything was great minus the children running through the halls yelling all through the night and the messes that they made during breakfast because they were unsupervised by parents. Which is on the parents not the hotel. Otherwise the place is great as always. "

"Very nice clean room with comfortable bed and nice shower. Kitchenette was good with microwave and mini fridge, basic dishes. The owner was very easy to communicate with. Good location with Mary Jane’s restaurant bar next door had excellent food and nice atmosphere. My only small suggestion would be to put variable light switches so you could turn down the lighting at night. I would definitely recommend and would stay here again on my next trip to Perryville."

"We had an excellent experience with the property, the hosts and the charming town of Ste. Genevieve. Communication with the host was prompt and clear, from the check-in process through the (very easy!) departure. The property was clean and excellently appointed, and I will say most of the rooms are actually a bit larger than they appear on the listing, which was a nice surprise. And as most of the other reviews indicate, it truly is in the heart of town, with everything--coffee, food, drinks, museums & shopping all a short walk away. To us, however, the best part was how responsive our hosts--Jayne and Dustin--were throughout our stay. We had an issue with the AC the first night, made them aware the next morning, and by the time we got back from lunch, the AC guy (along with Dustin) was there getting everything back in ship-shape for a cool and comfortable stay! Check-out was a breeze: leave the garbage in the kitchen trash, start the dishwasher and lock the door. That's it! No schlepping garbage to the local dump, no unmaking the bed or washing of linens. A small thing, but truly appreciated. We'd highly recommend considering this lovely little home for anyone visiting Ste. Genevieve and the surrounding area."
