Lovely Lodge for a cheaper price than most hotels in the area. Not far from downtown Corning, NY, too. Recommend this Lodge if you're looking for a cheaper but clean place to stay.
We enjoyed our visit to to Painted Post Econolodge. The evening desk clerk was exceptional. Very knowledgeable, as well as friendly and polite.

My three star rating represents a good deal for a one night stay… The property was clean… But in serious need of some updating.
Everything was in good working order in the room and in the lobby area. I would definitely stay again as I’m passing through that area.
Clean room, super friendly staff. Waffles for breakfast but otherwise not a ton of options. We've stayed here twice, and the only problem I can find is that there's no elevator. Thankfully we were just passing through for one night both stays but I would think twice before lugging in a ton of luggage for an extended stay
This hotel is ok for the price and for a one night stay. There were a few ants in the bathroom and not the most comfortable bed. Location is not the best - not convenient to restaurants or entertainment. Staff were very friendly and the overall cleanliness was good.
The hotel is perfectly located for branching out to see multiple locations. It was clean, very quiet, and the staff was professional, kind, and helpful. Many restaurants near by as well as a Walmart, which came in handy. I would definitely stay here again.
Room was very clean, staff was friendly and welcoming. Only personal suggestion is more options for breakfast for gluten free. Overall would stay here again.
The room was nice and clean but the toilet when you sat on it rocked back and forth I shimmed the front edge with a two advertisement card from the front deck so it wouldn’t rock the breakfast that was offered was poor we called the day before and was told that they offer bacon sausage and egg but only hit item was make your own waffle and the only juice was suppose to be orange juice it was terrible and there wasn’t any cream cups for coffer who ever use the last four left the empty one on the counter and know one refilled so I rate the hole as ok. Breakfast as poor room as good

Breakfast was decent, although it seemed like the boiled eggs on the second day were the same as the day before. Staff were friendly and helpful. Approximately 30 minutes from Watkins Glen International.
The toilet did not flush well. There must of been an office above our 1st floor room as people were stomping around, and vacuuming late in the evening. (9:00ish pm.) The fan in the bathroom was ridiculously loud. At breakfast there was a set up for making waffles, but no waffle batter. However, the bed was comfortable and it was fine for one night.

The hotel was nice, our room was clean, and the staff was very helpful. There was not much to the breakfast buffet and that was a disappointment.
Room was clean and comfortable. They offered coffee, water, popcorn and cookies in the lobby. Breakfast was adequate, toast, cereal, hard boiled eggs, oatmeal and yogurt. Fruit and juice was also available. Front desk staff were very accommodating.
