「Excellent restaurant property in every way」

「Love staying here with my husband and two dogs. The surrounding nature was beautiful and revitalising. The cottage was warm, cosy and had everything we needed. 」

「Bootmakers is cosy, warm and full of character - rustic, quirky, full of vintage curios and surprising discoveries. Owners have thought of everything guests could possibly need, including ample breakfast provisions and pantry staples. Located in the centre of the lovely little township - with gastropub and shops a short walk away, and a short drive from the wonderful Brae restaurant. Would love to go back when the weather is warmer to take better advantage of the large courtyard out the back...

「The cottage impressed upon arrival - balcony overlooking the rolling hills with a view of the ocean provided a great spot to sit, read, relax, enjoy a cup of tea or meditate. Helen was a delight to chat to and was very accommodating. The farm animals and wildlife were just the icing on the cake. It is obvious there has been a lot of thought, care and love put in to the experience.」

「From the moment we walked in the front door we felt at home. Nothing was overlooked but in saying that, it felt so right, not pretentious, just perfect. Even our Border Collie Banjo had a wonderful time. Well done to our hosts 10/10 ✨」

「The cottage is a beautiful design and full of essential home comforts. The bed was really comfy and the fire in the evening was lovely, set ready for us. We were a bit surprised how far we were from the beach as for some reason we thought it was a quick easy walk. Worth noting there are two steps from the living to the kitchen area which may be tricky for some people.」

「The cottage is clean and have a positive atmosphere. Surrounding nature makes the place very relaxing. We loved the fire place. Carport next to the cottage was so helpful. The direction of getting to the cottage was a bit confusing. One of the reasons we booked this cottage was having a spa but we couldn't use the Spa as it was so cold and by the time it got to the right temperature it was bed time. We were disappointed as we expected a ready to use spa like other places. 」

「Air conditioning didn’t work, portable oil heaters to use , gas hot water system ran out off gas! Old musty farm house, Ok for some, but very expensive compared to others.」

「Comfortable house surrounded by forest with opportunities to see Koala and Kangaroo, lots of birdlife in surroundings. Secluded. Friendly hosts. Access to fresh eggs and herb garden. Easy to explore surrounding coast from this base.」

「ファミリーで宿泊しました。グレートオーシャンロードへ観光する為には車で1時間ぐらいの場所です。近くにスーパーなどあるので便利です。部屋は綺麗で快適でした。電子レンジは部屋に無かったですが、ホテルの方にお願いしたら持って来てくれました。BBQグリルの道具も貸して頂いてとても良くして頂きました。 ただ、土日レストランとパブがやっていなくて残念でした。」

「First of all the service was awsome 👌 the room was what was expected beautiful and very easy to find and nice and quiet 」

「Quite new cabin, everything thing was there for an overnight stay. Great cooking facilities (which we didn’t use) Only criticism would be to supply extra pillows and a hair dryer. Soap dispenser wasn’t working. 」

「Local pubs were good eating. Not much sound proofing in walls. Room smelt very clean. Room facilities clean just dated which is expected for a regional township. 」
