OK for the price - nothing fancy.

This is an older motel. for the price, it was adequate for a 1 night's stay. Room was clean. Bed average for Motel 6. There were stains on the bedspread, but ssheets were clean. Quiet, Great water pressure in the shower - probably the best thing going after a long day's drive from Cuba, NM. Would stay again.

We broke down about 20 miles from this town. We were hot and tired and so sad. Debbie and her crew made everything perfect. I cannot rave enough about her and the rest of the folks at this motel. The room is a better one for Motel 6. Not perfect, but I love that I can bring my Chihuahua's. I am so thankful for these people. I will definitely stay here in the future

Rude neighbors

There was a guest that had a dog that barked the owner tossed a toy/ball til 12 am. so dog was running across wood floor sliding into wall and furniture . Rude as hell. You do that outdoors not indoors . No problem with a dog just very large when running after an object and not being able to stop on wood floors!!!! It was so annoying. Could not even enjoy watching TV program. Not to mention relaxing away from home. is hard enough not being able to sleep away from home.

Usually, if I don't have something nice to say, I wont. This will be one of my few exceptions. Starting at the lobby, the desk clerk was pretty friendly when first checking in. There is a large "NO REFUNDS" sign at check-in. The lobby smelled of a mix of humidity and cigarettes... place needs to be urgently aired out. The first room I got was absolutely filthy. The beds had hair on them, the sheets were dirty and stained. The restroom was even worse. I asked the desk clerk for a new room. The second room was better but not by much. The beds were also covered in hair, the sheets were stained, and sheets had cigarette burns. The restroom was also extremely filthy. Luckily, I always carry lysol wipes and tried to make the most out of the situation... It seemed like the room had not been cleaned in MONTHS!!! It was so gross!!! I requested clean sheets, and apparently, it was a hard feat to accomplish, filled with annoyance and sarcasm. My husband and friend made the beds with the clean sheets and we called it a night. This was the worst hotel/motel stay ever. I want a refund so bad. As for the manager, you're welcome. We left the room cleaner than when we arrived.

It's was in renovations and so I can't fully say how it will look but I do know that it's been though some changes but the rooms are clean and my king size bed was comfy and plushy had direct tv and all packages available. So the renovations upstairs made good entertainment for Halloween ghost hunting fun 😊 my weekend stay so I give it 5 stares because the staff are really cool can't wait to see what they make this motel near love's truck become!?!

-phone didn’t work - Ice machine didn’t work - VERY loud people next to me banging on walls, slamming doors, yelling, dogs continuously barking ALL night through my check out time. This was by far the nastiest hotel i have ever seen. The whole place smelled like smoke. And there were alot of tweakers staying here. I had to leave as soon as i checked in. Because i knew 100% my car would get broken into. The bed had a bunch of weird stains on it. It was disgusting. I cant believe a hotel like this is in business.

I've never had a bad stay with Motel 6 - until this one in Elk City. The A/C leaked water onto the floor which was already so filthy that I was afraid to go barefoot. After killing the fourth roach, I went online to book a room at a motel across the street (Super 8) and left Motel 6 after only a few hours of being in the room.
