Our room was right beside the restaurant so it was quite noisy till about 11pm. Felt a bit claustrophobic in the room. We will not stay there again. Food at the restaurant was pretty good and the staff was very pleasant and warm.

We drove about 4 hrs from Merida and arrived just before 13:00, the plan was to eat lunch at the advertised Italian restaurant in the hotel, but it was all locked up, closed. We decided to drive over to the beach, drive because it looked like a much more than the listed 7 minute walk to the El Cuyo Playa. It took more like ten, fifteen minutes drive to get there and when we found a lot of trash, bottles plastic trash styrofoam, diapers etc. not e place where you would want to spend time.The "trash station" had no trash cans, just a mountain of trash strewn around it. The playa had a foul smell from trash and likely from a lot of rotting sargasso, seaweed on the beach and in the water. El hotel es pequeño la habitación cómoda y agradable, la atención al recibirnos fue muy amable, lleganos ya por la noche y con hambre por lo que cenamos ahí en el restaurante del hotel y todo muy rico, bebidas por igual, lo único que se nos hizo raro fue que no hiciero limpieza de la habitación y no tendieron cama al siguiente día, solo.nos quedamos 2 noches . En geneal es lugar agradable y todos muy amables.
