"Stayed in the townhouse with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The townhouse was beautiful AND comfortable. The unit had a combo washer/dryer and a full kitchen. One thing to keep in mind, the unit has 3 levels and lots of steps. Local tours meet right outside your windows but it is kind of fun to listen to the stories. The staff was phenomenal. Went above and beyond in helping us celebrate our 30th Anniversary. "

"Loved our 2 night stay at the Nether Abbey. This 12 room hotel is done to perfection. We were a party of four, staying in three different rooms for a golf vacation. Each room was spotless and comfy and of the highest standards. The morning breakfast is ordered the night before and to be served when you walk into the Music room. Everyone’s breakfast was delicious, and served with a smile. We had dinner one night, and the food, whisky and service was brilliant! The hotel is perfectly located...

"The staff are very friendly. The rooms are airy and large. The shower is a bit of a mission to get into. The paint on the cupboard and side table is chipped and needs to be touched up. Windows open to allow fresh air as the room gets stuffy when the heaters are on. Breakfast is served quickly and the breakfast room is nicely laid out. Location is great to walk around Edinburgh."

"We love the location of this hotel, the breakfast was outstanding, and we were allowed to check in early. The only negative I can possibly think of is that the bathroom didn't have enough counter space. Other than that this stay was perfect!"

"We came by car and there was ample space to park. We had a warm and friendly check in and the member of staff showed us to our room. The room was clean, well furnished and quite large. We had an excellent Lamb curry and drinks in the Bistro which was very tasty. In the morning our welcome again was friendly and efficient. The full Scottish selection of food was available on the hot buffet section. My husband had porridge especially made for him and which was again very nice. We would definitely...

"The Shore area and its bars and restaurants are in easy walking distance and the tram stop is just across the road. Staff are friendly and helpful and the bar is a pleasant place to round off an evening."
