Perfect for what we needed, a good base with amenities close by and good bus route in and out of edinburgh. Student accommodation was basic but very clean.
Went for a couple days, really kind and helpful staff. The room was clean as was the rest of the common areas. Definitely recommend, I'll be staying again

Very nice place to stay, not to far from the center but reasonably quiet. No possibility to keep luggage after check out, which generally is a nice facility if you need to visit longer at your last day.
This was a great setup for the price! We were able to get buses to the airport and downtown Edinburgh, and there were several great shops and restaurants nearby. The room was spacious and clean!

Budget friendly; not for sore backs
Convenient to shops and walkable to sites. Not for anyone needing comfortable bed. Staff was friendly.
I read so many bad reviews that it was a good surprise in the end. The room was small but with a bed, table and bathroom, which was great for us. The kitchen was very helpful. The accomodation is very close to the main tourist attractions.
Very convenient location and staff was friendly and professional. Dorm living, so I felt cramped in the sparse tiny bedroom, but we had a private bathroom, access to a shared kitchen and got to do our laundry, while relaxing in a comfortable common room with couches, books and a tv. Good value.
The stay was exceptionally pleasant and offered great value for the price. The staff was friendly and provided round-the-clock assistance. Laundry services were available at an additional cost. The common areas were well-equipped with games and a television, creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere.
Overall, the experience was pleasant. The bed comfortably accommodated two people, although the pillows and mattress showed signs of wear. The location, a 30-minute uphill walk to the city center, felt a bit distant. To add, the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful.
Small room/bed if you are sharing with someone. If you’re going in summer the windows barely open due to safety concerns and is quite hot. However, very convenient for location, best shower pressure I’ve had in a stay location like this and staff was very nice!
Could not fault this accommodation. Very friendly and helpful staff available twenty four hours to answer any queries or help with directions re bus service etc. The room was spotless, the en-suite bathroom with shower was also very clean and modern. The only drawback was the bed size as it was a double and my husband is quite big. There are two supermarkets a few minutes away pubs and restaurants are at the top of the main road where there is a choice of buses to the centre.
What we liked best about this place was two-fold: First, we like the big, full kitchen we shared with the other 4 rooms in the flat. We also appreciated the promptness they dealt with any issues we had (the window was broken and wouldn't close, so they changed us to a different room). This place is a dorm, and a dorm is a dorm, but the bed was comfortable, they were generous with extra pillows, and as I said, the kitchen was great.

The room was clean and well organised, really quiet, and close to supermarket (lidl and asda), AT 15min from the city Center with bus stop close by. There was a private kitchen for 5 rooms which was really handy. We had access to a laundry that was cheap and it was very useful. Only negative point: the absence of television in the room.
A bit noisy, depends on the other guests, but the area is quiet. There are lidl and tesco nearby. This place doesn't provide any goods like coffee, tea but you can find some basic kitchenware. The room was clean and tidy, huge office desk donthe job! In this price there is no better option!
Good in general. Location a bit far for central and area a bit dead at night but nice bakeries and cafes nearby in Stockbridge. Staff very pleasant and helpful but had to constantly ask them to for example turn on the fridge and the light sensors in shared kitchen, the later of which was not done despite asking for it twice.
Really enjoyed my time here. The location is close to public transport or a 2km walk to Old Town. My room was clearly lived-in but clean and quiet. It is student accommodation first and foremost which makes the rooms feel very safe as keycards are required to access the facilities, flats and room. Our building was very quiet considering there were many of us checked in. Our flat had a large, well-stocked communal kitchen. Laundry facilities require an app for payment & booking machines. Staff were very helpful and available 24/7.
3 day stay to visit my daughter. Just needed a place to sleep at night. Basic student room. Spotlessly clean.Communal sitting area / kitchen with everything needed to self cater. No TV.
Previous reviews mentioned poor insulation / noise but maybe I was just lucky as I had no issues.
Parking on street outside permitted between 5.30 pm and 8.30 am.
Would definitely stay again.(Assume only available outwith Uni term time.)
Good Price for Edinburgh where >£200 per night is the norm.
