"Upon checking in, we were given our hotel keys to our room. We were not shown the direction of where our elevator was to our room. Also, we did not know that you needed your room key to operate the elevator to our level. We were staying in your hotel because we were out of town attending a granddaughter’s graduation. Upon returning back to the hotel, the parking lot was full, and there was no place to park. There was a gated parking lot off the side that I saw someone else pull in and get their bags out and walk inside. That’s when we figured out that our room key could open that gate. Which it did. It really would’ve been a nice to know those extra features upon checking in so we didn’t waste half an hour driving around the parking lot looking for a spot to park in the morning. We went into the café to grab a quick bite to eat before we headed up to our room. We waited one hour before our food got to our table. And then it wasn’t as we ordered. My wife has allergies to anything that’s spicy so we ordered it without the sauce that makes it spicy. But the aloha chicken burger that we ordered came dry, didn’t even have teriyaki on it. We had to ask our server to please bring us some mayonnaise and teriyaki sauce. Upon checking out after what we’ve been through, we decided we weren’t going to have breakfast there so we just checked out and left"

"While there is nothing *wrong* with this property it is extremely basic, and the rooms are so tiny ya have to shimmy around the side of the bed. Its the most affordable stay, but if there's any place else available for only a little more, I'd stay there instead. A stay here is *fine*, but it will come with a side eye from your spouse."

"The room was not a place you would want to "hang out in" because it was small and only had the bed for sitting and the bed was uncomfortable. The room had no view and was right near the busy road on the island that was very loud. The nature trail was really a small loop around the property. Breakfast was nice but it was only served at 9:00 am. Given the price, we expected more."

"This is a very cool property in Eastsound. As the pictures show, it's a very unique home which makes for a cool stay! A few things to note: 1) You will be waking with the sun--the windows provide gorgeous views, but if you know you're wanting to sleep in, bring an eye mask. 2) As other reviews have noted, the bathroom is located in the main house, which is separate from the two sleeping quarters, so just something to be aware of if you tend to get up in the night. 3) I was on a solo stay, and I was uncomfortable leaving the main house unlocked all night, so I locked all of the back doors and went out the front door at night and then around the main house to the sleeping house. Again, just something to be aware of!4) Regarding the bathroom: the soaking tub is fantastic for taking a bath, but makes hair washing a little more difficult--there is not a secret shower on property ;)This was a very cool rental, but if I had to do it again for a solo trip, I think I would have booked a stay at one of the inns in town for ease of access and my personal feelings of security. I think this would be an amazing home for 2-3 people who really want a secluded stay in a beautiful venue!"
