"I have stayed at the Grand Chancellor every time I visit Hobart. It always meets expectations, wonderful friendly staff and great location. Rooms are kept impeccably clean and the restaurant serves a great menu of good quality options. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else."

"One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in, almost brand new and perfect for my purposes while I stayed for a short business trip. Ideally situated right in the heart of Hobart next to the ocean with many amenities nearby - shops, restaurants and Salamanca mkt."

"The hotel is perfectly located right in the city, surrounded by shops, short walk to salamanca markets, short walk to the harbour to catch the MONA ferry. The room was beautiful, buffet breakfast outstanding, and the staff were amazing! We found the check in person, and the young man running breakfast servicing particularly friendly and helpful! 10/10 stay, absolutely will be back!"
