Prachtig gelegen ver weg van 'de herrie' van het gewone leven. Allerlei diertjes rond het huis. Zeer welkom gevoel door aanwezige producten zoals wijn, bier, koekjes, melk etc. Zeer vriendelijke gastvrouw. Kortom, perfect!」

「We had a week in Dairy Barn. It is stylish and cosy, with pretty much everything we needed. We used the hot tub 3 times, which was a lovely treat, especially as we could enjoy the amazing view of the sweeping countryside too. Next time, we will try to time it for warmer drier weather so we can enjoy sitting outside more. My only gripe is that the only soft seating in the lounge area is a sofa bed. 「We had a lovely stay at Amelia Cottage while visiting family in Battle. Such a nice and warm welcome from the owner. The cottage is very well equipped with everything you need. The garden is lovely and well maintained with many flowers. The location is perfect, it is close to the playground and to Battle High Street. The local supermarket Jempsons is only a few minutes walk away and that was also very handy. We will definitely book again!」

「Lovely cottage full of character. Lots of thoughtful touches such as shower gel, shampoo and kitchen essentials and the owner responded promptly to all our queries. The garden was an added bonus in the hot weather. Only two minor criticisms - firstly it wasn’t clear from the description that the bathroom (and therefore the only toilet) were on the ground floor. 「If you love a peaceful country retreat then this is for you. Wildlife all around. The owner could not be more helpful. Peacocks at the back door herds of dear and flocks of amazing rheas much better than advertised. You do need a car with good clearance for the track through the forest but it's worth it as it all ads to the amazing adventure. Thank you once again to our host Martin who meets guests at the gate to lead you through the forest.」
