"There are many details of this hotel that we find exceptional. First of all, the elevators offer indication as to which one is approaching your floor for the up or down direction you want to go to and they are very quiet. Secondly, they have all the in-suite accessories that you can think of, from full sets of chinaware, glassware and cutlery to complete set of stationary. For a bonus, our 270 degree view suite offers great night view of the city. Last but not least, staff we have encountered, from restaurants to the front desk, are all highly courteous and professional. "
"The hotel is new and the rooms are spacious. Excellent location as it’s linked to a big mall with many dining options. But what really stand out is the staff. Though bookings were made via Expedia (we had 2 different arrivals and 2 rooms), I had contacted the hotel directly on many occasions with regards to our late check-in, lower floor rooms, rooms near each other and our dining reservations on New Year’s Eve.
Staff was prompt in replying to all my emails by various staff which gave me the assurance that everything will be taken care off before our arrivals. Well done ! Highly recommended. "
"We had a lovely stay in Kunming. The hotel receptionist was a very kind boy who welcomed us with a smile and despite having a language barrier was able to communicate to us the essentials. The manager was also very helpful who gave us all the important info through WeChat and also helped us find the right bus to the rice terraces for our next step. The hotel itself is very cosy, clean and well maintained. It’s extremely comfortable and central within the pedestrian zone of the town so you can walk around everywhere with ease. Call DiDi if you want to go beyond !! "
"Best hotel I've stayed in awhile. Staff is a delight - when I arrived at 530am in the morning after a long night of travel, she passed me a bottle of water while I wait for check-in. She passed me a cup of tea while I wait for a taxi during the day. Hotel room amenities were great, more provided than a regular hotel - mouthwash, free snacks and drinks, even drinks in the fridge are free! Cleaning lady left a handwritten note wishing me a pleasant stay too."
