Within very short walking distance, you are near The Pavilion and the famous Kokomo’s Restaurant. Kokomo’s is the best ocean restaurant in Old Lyme for a reason, with fantastic ocean views and an unmatched family dining experience. 「Very clean house and nice proprietor. A small breakfast of coffee and pastry is even provided, which is very sweet. Close to the 95 without being loud, and the house feels very safe.Would recommend staying here, especially for the price. Two things I would flag (none of them dealbreakers at all—just information for those that might need it): (1) the very nice host will meet you and show you to your room. If you are arriving late, that is something you should flag since alternative arrangements...

「Adam, the owner was very responsive until we got there, and then decided not to stay because the room was really smaller than we imagined. There is barely enough room to get around the bed. I had asked, if possible, for some sort of a partial refund, but haven't heard anything back as of yet. The room was clean and in well-kept condition, but not nearly as comfortable as the pictures depict. Anyway, it was an expensive lesson for my further travels using VRBO as I would only consider a place...

「This was our second time staying here. It is a lovely apartment. Great seating, great amenities. The bathroom is roomy and well-appointed. The location is perfect for all of the restaurants and stores in the area.」

「The place is very nice, a lot of stairs for us, but we rallied. No TV was odd, but not a problem. We had a bit of a paranormal incident, it did give us pause, but didn’t let it scare us away. 」
