"Sehr nah zum Strand und gutes Frühstück"

"Very nice and clean hotel on Borkum in the city center."

"Nice hotel, centrally located..beds were too soft for my liking though"

"I stayed for 4 nights at this hotel. On my date of arrival I was early 07.00. I could sit in the lobby which was great and after talking to the reception at 08.00 my room was ready after 15 minutes which was very nice. During the wait the offered me to have coffee and breakfast. That was great. I had a room for 1 person. Great room, I had everything I needed. The coffee machine was great with free cups of coffee. The room was not big, but for me that was fine. Everyday I had breakfast, the...

"This hotel is a small annex of another hotel… about 150 meters apart. Breakfast is therefore served in another building. You’ll enter your room through a restaurant that does not belong to the hotels. My room seemed very recently renovated… fresh look. The only complaint is that it’s very noisy… walls and floors are paper thin. I was lucky only two rooms made noise"

"This was a wonderful hotel very close to the beach. My wife and I had a very restful and lovely time there. The restaurant is great, the bar is wonderful, and everyone at the hotel was very helpful and kind. The spa area is also quite lovely, but the website was a little misleading because they don’t offer any spa services, like massages. If you plan to stay here for the spa amenities, just be aware you’ll have to get massages at a different spa, and you need to make reservations for an advance,...

"Very nice hotel with excellent service snd facilities, including washer & tumbler (€2 per go). Large room with plenty of space. Near the north beach and the pedestrian area, including restaurants, cafes and shopping. Ver friendly and helpful staff. "

"Outstanding lack of empathy over €100 — Birkenhof proved where their priorities lie. ★☆☆☆☆ (1/5) If you are looking for a hotel with a basic level of human decency, look elsewhere. I had to request a cancellation due to a legitimate medical emergency. This was a trip I was deeply looking forward to, and I fully intended to reschedule, visit the island, and stay at this property once recovered — potentially becoming a repeat guest for years to come. Instead, Birkenhof decided that clinging...

"It has all the amenities but coffee during the day was at a cost and only coin operated. Amazing breakfast and yummy coffee. Our room was beautiful and the beds were comfortable!"

"Beautiful hotel, great location, amazing breakfast"

"Sehr schönes Hotel. Das Frühstück war super."

"This was a trip with my sister, the bed was like two single beds put together, German style. Okay. The room was clean and bathroom as well. It has a sitting area so one can relax and watch tv. Light comes in by the large window. Curtains are black out so during the night the light stays out. Breakfast was included and nothing beats the German breakfast buffet, trust me! It's situated about 5 minutes from the train station, in the center of the little town. It's surrounded by shops (across from...
