Beach Front on Beautiful Jenkins Pond, Quiet Area, Discounted off season rates!

High beamed ceilings with upstairs bedroom loft overlooking the pond. Two additional bedrooms are on the first level. The lower level has an oversized family room which has two twin sleep sofas for a total sleeping capacity of 8 people. There are two full bathrooms, one on the first floor and one in the lower level. Walk in the door and take in the view from the floor to ceiling windows in the living room and kitchen which overlook the beach in your back yard. The downstairs has a walk-out slider which brings you to the lower wooden deck and outdoor shower. There are lots of windows throughout the house which provide plenty of sunshine. The oversized family room in the lower level is equipped with a flat screen TV, a large full bathroom/laundry room with a full sized washer and dryer, as well as a private sitting area in the back. Please note that the backyard beach is one of many around the neighborhood and is part of a small association and open to neighborhood residents only.

The upper deck wraps around both sides of the house with lots of room to enjoy an outdoor BBQ.

Come back from a day at the ocean and jump in the pond or take a warm outdoor shower.

Walk up the street and enjoy the association beach.

In the fall and winter months, cozy up to the gas fireplace in the livingroom overlooking the beautiful backyard scenery, whether it be the autumn splendor or a snowy winter wonderland.

A week at Jenkins Pond Beach House

Location was ideal. The view of tranquil Jenkins Pond was certainly a highlight as was our daily swim. 2 year old absolutely loved the clean shallow beach. Family of ducks frequently entertaining us as was a heron appearing in the morning. The Beach House itself is spacious and well equipped. Lisa the host and owner was a pleasure to work with and very responsive.

Family vacation

My family had a wonderful time at Lisa’s house! It was clean and had every thing that we needed! The views are absolutely stunning and the neighborhood is great for biking and walking with kids. The lake was absolutely perfect!

Great Girls Wkend on the pond!

My girlfriend's and I always do wkend getaways together and we had such a great stay at Lisas house! The house was perfect and was decorated so pretty like in the pictures. We enjoyed a few cocktails on the huge deck that had amazing view of Jenkins Pond. Had a great dinner at The Flying Bridge which Lisa recommended! The property was just what we were looking for and needed for our wkend down the Cape! Lisa was great and quick to respond tho we didn't need much, we would love to stay again!

A cozy holiday getaway!

Our family gathered here for Christmas this year, and had a fantastic time. Such a beautiful location and large flexible space to bring us all together for a very special holiday weekend. Very clean and well appointed, complete with a cozy gas fireplace and amazing views of ducks and foggy mornings on the lake. The host even put up decorations for us! 🎄Wonderful spot.

Fantastic property

Stayed here during a girls get away. Home and view were great! Easy access to restaurants, stores and local sights/activities. Lisa, the owner responded very quickly to any questions we had. We would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Wonderful Weekend!

I can’t say enough about the great experience we had at this property! Lisa went far above our expectations helping us with check in time as we were traveling with two little ones from a long distance. Perfect Family Cape House

Lisa was a gracious, responsive host, and her house was perfect for our large family’s stay at the Cape, comfortably fitting 8 of us. The location on Jenkins Pond is beautiful and peaceful, and it’s a short drive into town for shops, restaurants, and necessities. We would love to come again!

Great location

Beautiful home with Jenkins Pond right in your backyard! My 19 month old grandson loved playing by the water and digging in the sand. We made use of the kayaks & paddle boards. Great location, close to downtown & beaches. All the comforts of home!

Perfect spring getaway

This property was perfect for a long weekend away to rest and relax for our family. The house is gorgeous and had everything we needed (and more!). It was chilly while we were there so the fireplace was wonderful. Lisa was attentive, kind and made the entire rental process smooth and effortless. We look forward to returning in the summer months when we can enjoy the outdoor deck, pond and near by beaches.

Summer fun on Jenkins Pond

This cottage on Jenkins Pond is beautiful! It was so clean and spacious! My daughters and I enjoyed every nook and cranny on the property, so many spaces to relax. The pond was so clean and refreshing. Lisa was a great host, she was a text away if we needed anything. We had a great time and made some new memories! We would definitely go back to this spot!

Weekend getaway

Cozy, quaint and everything you need. We didn’t mind just hanging in and enjoying the fireplace and waterfront view. Never felt the need to leave. Any necessity was available. Very clean, decor is adorable and the hosts were easy to reach from beginning to end. We really enjoyed the stay and would Love to come back!!

Great Stay on Jenkins Pond!

We stayed at Lisa’s home for a family reunion. It was perfect for that! The rest of our family was next door in Lisa’s other home. Lisa was very accommodating she even offered to let us come early to avoid traveling in a hurricane! After canoeing around the pond we decided this home is the best one! The floor to ceiling windows overlooking the pond are just spectacular and we didn’t see any other houses like that!

Great Welcoming Property and Hosts

This house was the perfect place to celebrate our 45th wedding anniversary. Super clean, comfortable and contained everything we needed in an organized and welcoming environment ... even a welcoming bottle of wine from the hosts to kick off the celebration!! So many nice touches around the house make you feel right at home and the layout makes the waterfront view the star of the show. Short rides to the ocean and stores with lots of options. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ... thank you Lisa for a great experience!!

Nice Week Away

The proximity right down the hill and views of the pond were wonderful. We really enjoyed the kayaks and paddleboards the host made available, and the sandy beach was perfect for our toddler to splash around in. Lisa was great at communicating with us and check-in was easy. The kitchen was stocked for cooking. The lack of AC was rough on a few hot and humid nights though, and the beds were not very comfortable. Other than that we had a great time.

Lovely lakeside location

We stayed off season, end of September. We weren't able to take advantage of the pond, kayaks, paddle boards or the deck, hammock or swings - given the cool, rainy weather. None of that distracted from our enjoyment of this comfortable home at a beautiful location. We're knitters and readers and would have loved great lake views with lighting and side tables to indulge our pastimes. Lisa raised the bar for effective, proactive communications and the stay was great - reservation through check out. Agree, the mattress could be better (bedroom across from the bath). Would welcome the opportunity to stay again.

Amazing Stay!!!

My stay started off with a phone call from Lisa 4 days prior to my departure. She wanted to get me acquainted with the property and see if I needed anything before my stay. I have never had this experience with a host before and I was super impressed! My crew arrived Thursday evening and we cozied up in the living room to rest for the weekend ahead! We were able to get a great night sleep on the comfy mattresses before a full weekend ahead. We enjoyed meals, drinks, and snacks on the lovely wrap-around deck overlooking the pond, and some friends in the group enjoyed a refreshing late-night swim. The house was about a 10 minute drive from all attractions we would need to get to. When you first arrive you might be worried that you are a little "out there" but do not panic! Everything was conveniently located!!! The house was situated in a quiet neighborhood away from the busier main road. Lisa checked in with us throughout our stay and was a fabulous host. My husband and I plan on booking for a family vacation next Spring. It is the perfect stay in the Cape!!!

The pond is a gem.

We all love staying on a pond. We swam, used the kayaks and paddle boards, and enjoyed all those fun experiences. They are in good shape and easy enough to bring to the pond. The house was clean. For us, the best features are the living room and deck where you can sit and see the gorgeous pond. The view is fantastic. The beds were not good for us. They are short and small for a couple to sleep well together. I ended up sleeping on the floor with a mattress from a fold-up bed. So, our sleep was not the best. This is the only drawback of this gorgeous property in a prime location.

Good but not great (for us)

On the positive: lake is amazing - warm and clean and sandy. The inside of the house is nice and we found it clean. It was wonderful to enjoy the deck. Here’s where i expected more given the rate and what I would have wished I knew before booking The beach behind the house is public for the neighborhood. When I asked the owner after arriving there she said 1) it didn’t say it was private 2) they never/rarely see people on it. Given the beach is directly behind the house on a lake with a path directly on it, not sure how I would have assumed public (there are other public points and many private beaches). There were people there every day - they were nice -but not what I was looking for personally for our getaway and given Covid concerns. While the owner uses a service to clean inside, she relies on the renters to keep the outside clean. We arrived to find 3 barrels of trash and overflowing recycling. The area where the lake accessories are kept was a complete mess. There was also a small pool by the door to wash your feet filled with dirty water. She was surprised by this but took no action except to apologize and relied on us to deal with the trash, etc. I had also asked about if we needed to bring chairs, she said she had plenty. We arrived to find 2 chairs only. Her eventual solution was for us to go next door to her other property to borrow some of those chairs since that renter didn’t need them all. I also asked about fishing - she said you could fish in the lake but she didn’t have a row boat which is fine. Except there’s a huge sign on the association beach that says no fishing from beach (which makes sense from a safety perspective) - so my son was extremely disappointed. The house does have fans but on 90 degree days it can be warm. The “in law suite” downstairs has no door.The upstairs furniture only seats 4 for relaxing but the downstairs seats more but this is the same area where the pull out twins are located The path to the beach was not fixed in 2020 given the other house purchase. You need water shoes to manage it. Bringing the boats down and up was not ideal - they are under the house, not stored at lake level. It’s a lovely house on a lovely lake. But when you pay $360/ night, you expect a getaway - not work and disappointment. Again just things I wish I had known before booking - because I wouldn’t have. She has many happy renters so perhaps this place just didn’t work for our family of 5
