Top East Coast Australia Hotel Reviews
The Langham, Gold Coast and Jewel Residences
10/10 Excellent
"Rooms are always clean and comfortable. Breakfast option is great. View of the beach is stunning with the enclosed balconies being helpful to keep things private. The pools and facilities are ok - the main pool is situated in a wind tunnel which is fine in summer but can be windy and cold in other times. Pool food options are ok. Overall a great place to go and unwind."
Novotel Sydney on Darling Harbour
10/10 Excellent
"Best location! We walked everywhere! From the hotel to the Sydney Opera House and everywhere in between. And if you don’t want to walk any where, you don’t have to because a 5 minute walk takes you to the beautiful Darling Harbour. So many restaurants, shops and ice cream! Beautiful scenery with the water and yachts. Awesome playground for children too! The hotel has a delicious coffee and bakery shop in the lobby, a great restaurant and very helpful staff. Clean, large rooms. Comfortable beds. Couldn’t ask for more. I will definitely stay there again on my next visit."
Amora Hotel Brisbane
8/10 Good
"The beds were amazing! So comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, but make sure to preorder to save money. I loved that we also got a free drink each. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It would be great if the pool was heated or there was a spa/ hot tub as well."

Shangri-La Sydney
10/10 Excellent
"It’s in a great location. Especially if you get bridge and opera house facing room. Grab a coffee in morning and watch the sunrise over opera house. Breakfast is wonderful. Walkable to great restaurants. Loved it."
Dorsett Gold Coast
8/10 Good
"Good room for families with kids, with comfortable beds. The Executive Lounge left a little to be desired, but overall it was a fine stay."
Mercure Sydney
8/10 Good
"Rooms are clean and well-maintained with everything you need. Checking in and out are all done digitally on kiosks, and there is a very friendly and helpful staff there to assist if you have trouble. Convenient location and secure parking. Couldn't give five stars because there was a peculiar smell all throughout the building (thankfully not in the rooms) and because the sofa bed mattress was too thin and uncomfortable. The main bed mattresses were great, though."
