Its was amazing ....the room was so clean👌❤️ the space in the shower 👌 the staff was so friendly they assisted us with everything we needed...would definitely visit again
The location was excellent for my purposes and the accommodation was great. Friendly and courteous staff all around the building from Security & Reception to the Domestic Helpers.
The room was comfortable and well organised, I would use this venue again while in Durban.
Too much noise from other room and the security nothing waa done .
But its very clean just like other Bayside Hotel .

We had to pay R50 deposit per key, but were not refunded when checking out.
The first room we received was stinky and the aircon didn't work. We complained and were assigned a new room which was much better.
The area isn't that safe, but there is safe/guarded parking for an extra fee of R50 per night, and the hotel itself feels safe (it's also 24/7 guarded).
Out stay was amazing we really enjoyed ourselves. The cleaner very friendly n helpful. They a always smiling. Unfortunately wen we arrive the was que at the reception n the was only 1 person working.
Nothing i like about the place. The room they offered me was not prepared for a guest.
I didnt sleep. I had to find a ñew accommodation elsewhere
The property is under renovations where you have to skip rubble
More than dissatisfied
The whole experience was spoilt by power being off from Saturday morning right through to Sunday when I checked out at 09h00. This caused me a lot of inconvenience as I could not prepare for the next days presentation using my laptop. I am very disappointed.

Disappointing Breakfast
I recently stayed at Bayside Hotel and booked my stay through Hotel.com. My booking clearly stated that a continental breakfast was included in the price. However, upon arrival, the receptionist informed me that breakfast was not included for guests who booked online.
Despite showing my confirmation email from Hotel.com which clearly listed breakfast as included, the receptionist refused to acknowledge this and insisted I pay extra for breakfast. This created an unnecessary and frustrating situation at the beginning of my stay.
While the hotel itself may have been satisfactory, this experience significantly impacted my overall impression. It was disappointing to have to argue for a service that was already paid for.
Most of the room furnisher seemed to be worn out and also one of the windows in my room was broken.

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service
On arriving at the hotel, I was told that they were fully booked, even though I had a confirmation. I was sent to another hotel bayside hotel. The rate quoted for the other hotel was an extra R100. When I arrived at the other hotel, I was again quoted an extra R100 At the end, I paid more than R150 for what was originally quoted. I then had a neighbour knocking on his door for his partner to open until very late at night and I struggled to sleep. When I called reception, I expected a quick response, but it didnt happen and in the mean time this guy continued to shout for his partner to open the door for him
