"Have you heard the song “Oh Shenandoah”? It’s a beautiful and spirited song about life in and around the Shenandoah River. Amazing Grace is aptly named to describe a place where the spirit of Shenandoah comes to life. The home is spacious, well equipped and unique in capturing this “spirit of Shenandoah”.We had 6 family members, ranging from grandparents to grandchildren. We indeed experienced Amazing Grace. "Arriving at the property the gravel drive way took you up to the beautiful cabins which revealed a gorgeous Mountain View. The property grounds are very well maintained and the cabin was gorgeous. Very cozy and had everything as described in listing. We spent most of our time in the newly installed patio which gave a postcard view. The bed swing was a nice surprise as the listing doesn’t reflect the new addition. On our second day the owner stopped and made sure our stay was going well and he was extremely nice and personable. One little surprise was the baby copperhead that slithered out from under the hot tub steps as we were exiting the hot tub on our second night. So use caution and be mindful of your surroundings. But don’t forget you are in the mountains so it should be expected you might see wildlife and little surprises like this. There is dim lighting provided around hot tub and patio area so it allowed us to see it in time and remain safe. I would recommend this cabin to anyone looking to get away for a couple days. "A mountain home with great features and decor. With young adult kids that need space the multi floor bedroom layout is nice. Hot tub was great.On a clear star lit spring night with a fire it was wonderfully quiet. Luray isn’t far and Ciro’s pizza in Stanley was a very good small town pizza place. A relaxing getaway."
