The room was very tired and needed a thorough clean. Surfaces were sticky, carpets were dirty, shower and bath were dirty. The whole room needed painting and decor updating. The staff were very helpful and restaurant was good. Unfortunately, would not stay here again.

Basic rooms but clean and functional. Used to be the Campanile chain. Evening meal in bar area was okay and full English breakfast was very good.A reasonably priced hotel. It's not 5 star but adequate for a short stay. Staff were friendly.

The rooms were in a poor state with paint missing and peeled from doors and door frames, with the same dated decor as the previous owners. I also had to go and ask for a bedside table as there were none in my room. Also there was no do not disturb type cards to hang from the doors. Around the back where my room was, there was cigarette butts and litter between the path and the grass and a strong smell of cannabis, especially in the passage near the stairs. Definitely not worth the money paid for my stay, and i shall not be using this establishment again.

The room was ground floor could hear people walking past my window, the mattress was awful old, worn and bouncy no support and the pillows were hard, a poor nights sleep, the only good thing was the shower was hot. Had evening meal Buber and chips no veg or salad and chips were greasy and overall the whole meal poor quality. Breakfast was awful cheap food sausage was un edible, bacon was cheap and tinned mushrooms don’t waste your money other places near offer better value.

So terrible we walked in and walked out again, drove around to find a different hotel! This hotel gave me the creeps, like something out of a horror movie with an American hostel feel. We arrived late (10 ish pm) and despite the hotel being quite quiet our room was given to us and was one of the last rooms down a long dark corridor at the back of the building. I was travelling alone with my young daughter and couldnt understand why we were put so far away from civilisation. Something felt off. The guy in reception was blunt and cold. The hotel is run down anyway but our room was terrible, dirty and i think the door must have been rammed a few times, everything was battered and i did not feel secure at all. People able to walk past your room window peering in and as the door and window was pretty much on the bed i wouldnt have slept for fear someone was going to come in. Please see photos here to show you as its hard to discribe. When i called the guy to say we had left his response was 'ok, bye' and hung up on me. So i dont think we were the first to leave going by his attitude.

Good location for Doncaster racecourse/snow dome, free parking which is a bonus. Hotel has a main building with reception and bar/restaurant room for breakfast. Rooms are in the annex. Slightly tired looking but room was clean and serviceable for a 1 night stay and staff were helpful as we had some problems accessing room/paying due to a powercut in the area(which I believe isn't uncommon in that area of Doncaster?). All in all would recommended for a basic 1-2 night stay if you're in the area.

I don’t know how this hotel isn’t a health and safety violation in itself. Don’t get me wrong, for £50 a night I wasn’t expecting luxury, but the condition of the place was shocking. There were four separate groups of us staying there, and every single room had a large patch of mould growing above the headboard, which was quite horrifying. The taps and sinks were barely attached, our bathtub had a hole in it, and the guests next door had their door constantly open, with a strong smell of weed coming from their room. The bar was another disappointment. I don’t know how it’s even classed as a bar when they only had bottled drinks because all of the draft taps were out of service for our entire stay. The staff also seemed like they wanted nothing to do with the place, as if they were only there because they had to be. Overall, I really hope the cleanliness and maintenance of this hotel are addressed, as it was well below an acceptable standard.

Basic accommodation. Old fashioned but clean . In need of a refurbishment. Plenty of free parking and the location is OK . Cheaper than big hotel chains but the rooms reflect this . Beds are sponges and need replacing .

Room 117. Poor carpet dirty thick marks badley frade at inner door, flickering bed lights, Bathroom door not shutting, Bathroom wall paper miss coloured patchy ,Toilet loose on wall, Basson waist pipe cross threaded, Bath area two chains on plug and not connected, tiles not grouted, 4 tiles slack agents wall. No alcohol licence so could not have a drink. Male receptionist hard to understand. High risk of electrical fire or being hit by loose tiles.
