Tanrallt is a sympathetically restored Georgian townhouse 2 minutes walk from the centre of the historic market town of Dolgellau, with views towards the fantastic mountains. Perfectly located to explore North Wales and Snowdonia National Park, or to enjoy hiking, cycling, water sports or climbing. Refurbished in recent years, the house is full of charm, with original features and is a home from home to holiday in.
Entering via the lower ground floor, you will find the open plan kitchen and diner area with large island which fully equipped to prepare a meal. There is a utility room just off the kitchen with a washer dryer. Heading up to the first floor, you will find the traditional main entrance with tiled flooring and the main living area. Snuggle up on the sofas in front of the log burner and watch a film on the TV, or lounge in front of the window and take in the magnificent mountain views. Completing the first floor is a handy WC.
The three bedrooms are located over split levels on the second and third floor of the house. On the top floor, you will find the master bedroom on the right side of the landing with a King size bed and the master bathroom on the left side, with shower and a beautiful rolltop bath. The second bedroom located on the top floor has a King size bed. The third bedroom located on the first floor is a large Superking bed which can be split into 2 singles upon request at time of booking, there is a family bathroom with shower and WC on the first floor. There is a library of books for guests to enjoy during their stay.
There is a small sunny courtyard garden at the rear of the property with a table and chairs, where guests could also store bikes. There is no parking at the property but a permit is provided for the local car park for one vehicle only 3 minutes walk from the house.
Dolgellau offers a fantastic base for guests to enjoy the attractions and outdoor activities of Snowdonia National Park. This beautiful market town is charming to simply walk around, exploring the narrow lanes and squares, and enjoying the cafes, restaurants and shops. There are numerous walking and cycling trails starting from the town including the Mawddach Trail. The beautiful beaches at Fairbourne (9 miles) and Barmouth (9 miles) are perfect for enjoying the Snowdonia coast, while King Arthur’s Labyrinth (10 miles) takes you on an immersive tour through the legends and myths of Wales.

- Max 2 dogs, one dog included with booking price, 2nd charged at £35.
- Excessive barking is disruptive to neighbouring properties, so we ask that you ensure this is not permitted. Dogs are not permitted on the furniture or beds. Owners are responsible for ensuring litter is bagged and disposed of appropriately.
- Please be aware that the hedge at the end of the garden meets a high wall without a fence. It's important to keep dogs and children away from this area, as there is a dangerous drop beyond the hedge. All guests should be aware of this risk.
