"Everything was great. From the hosts Douglas and his mother were amazing. Perfect location. Everything is walkable or 10 minutes by buggy. The included breakfast was prepared fresh to order by the chef. We were extremely happy with our experience here. The people are so friendly and welcoming. Plus the charm of this place being so small was great. The pictures shown on here don't do it justice. It's a fairly new property but don't hesitate to book here! "

Excellent restaurant (Xica da Silva) and convenience store just down the street. You are quick taxi ride to all beaches so there is no need to rent a buggy.
The mattress and pillows were covered in rubber protective casings which was odd.
There is no WiFi or cell signal at this pousada or on the island, so be ware of being stuck without internet.
All in all, this is a nice bed and breakfast but is too pricey for what you get."

It’s very close to some of the island’s best beaches, such as Praia do Bode and Boldró, the latter just a 5-minute walk away. It’s also only about a 10-minute ride from the main square, where you’ll find the largest concentration of bars, restaurants, and shops, though there are also a few options within walking distance. That said, it’s always recommended to have your own transportation (buggy, scooter, or taxi), since distances on the island are quite large and getting around is much easier this way. As an alternative, there is a public transportation stop right in front of the inn, which can be a good option for travelers on a tighter budget.
The inn itself is super peaceful, thanks to having only a relatively small number of rooms, making it completely quiet and relaxing. The rooms are spacious, with super comfortable beds, always clean and well air-conditioned. There is also a lovely pool with lounge chairs in the buffet area. Breakfast is very good, with plenty of options, and the service provided by the staff is excellent — always attentive to any need and very friendly.
We enjoyed our stay enormously and would definitely come back. Excellent value for money, and highly recommended!"
