Atheneum Suite Hotel
Atheneum is a solid stay downtown! The suites are very roomy and although not very modern, have a charm to them. The hotel itself is very active. A lot of foot traffic and there is an element of noise but I didn’t find it disruptive or obnoxious. It was quiet at sleep time :) Room service was good ...

MGM Grand Detroit
We got in after our flight and it was well after 4:30 and they were telling everyone in line that no rooms were ready. We had to stow our luggage and get a text which was about 40 minutes later.
