"Beautiful cottage in a great location. Felt at home straight away with all the amenities and more that you could want. Fantastic location, a stone's throw from the beach. Everything provided was tasteful and of a high spec/standard. Would definitely recommend to others to stay. Lucy was easy to contact and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommended. "The property is very light, spacious and comfortable. The house is well equipped. The decor is contemporary a mixture of contemporary and antique. There was a generous starter back. The property is located just outside the village of Orford. "

"It is a good size house, very well laid out and very solidly built. It has a nice yard in a quiet area. The faucet in the kitchen needs some attention as it splashes water everywhere. Overall we would go back again."

"Excellent location, accommodation very good. Minor concerns - size of television, condition of kitchen tap also although the parking arrangements are clearly stated within the house book they are not clear online. The latter just says that there is parking for 2 cars but more accurately one of the cars has to be small. We had to park the second car on the road, no problem as we were out of season but it could be a problem at busier times. Overall though we all had a very enjoyable stay."

All good except !

"Nice room very clean staff pleasant but bar area in need of a bit of love snd attention. Breakfast very good but placement of things s bit odd. Why is the butter with the fresh fruit section and not by the toaster and bread and jams !? Also tea making area very congested and when busy you have to wait a very long time to access the hot water/ coffee machine. "

The pavlova alone is worth the trip

"Comfortable room with excellent tea making supplies - and a good sized mug each! The floor fan was useful as it was very warm. The hotel kindly allowed a later check out with a prompt and polite response to our request. Check in was efficient and simple. The evening meal was superb - great value and the pavlova! Wow! Chef’s kiss! All in all - a beautiful historic building and a really enjoyable stay. We will return I am sure. "
