「This is difficult to write. We stayed at Gingerlilly for a month. We have been gone for almost a week and I miss it every day. House is amazing, Pearl and Johnathan were wonderful. Bequia was all you can ask for, the people ( who we made life long friends), the food the beauty. Gingerlilly was the perfect location to enjoy the absolutely beautiful view, take deep breaths and be thankful for everything Bequia has to offer.I could go on and on but I'll always have the best memories ever and...

「PROs: The experience was genuine and the staff were helpful when the little fridge didn't work and made pains to tell us we were not being charged when I found the ac did not work. I enjoyed the local food--callaloo soup (a bit like nettle soup) and lobster fritters. King, the bartender was quite congenial and they were kind to let us drink some leftovers from our sailboat during the afternoon. CONS: A bit of paint would not hurt the place. I wish I had known to turn on the hot water heater...

「Wir waren begeistert und werden wiederkommen! Die Chatham Bay ist eine ca. 2km lange Bucht auf der windgeschützten Seite von Union Island. Die Anreise ist nur per Fähre und dann per Wassertaxi (ca. 20 min) möglich. Oder als Segler. Es gibt keine regelmäßigen Flüge nach Union Island. Die Bucht hat durchgehenden Sandstrand, der nach ca. 10m über eine kleinere Felskante in tieferes Wasser übergeht. Durch diese Felskante ist die gesamte Bucht ein Schnorchelparadies. 「The inn is lovely with nice rooms and outside is very well maintained. You go directly to the beach which is across the inn. Sandra, the owner does everything possible for the guests to feel home. We had a wonderful tour of the island with many places to visit. Highly recommended, we loved it and we’ll go back. 」
