"Property is in a great location on the island, basically right beside the beach. The restaurant served great food. The room was okay, the building is definitely dated but the common spaces were cleaned regularly. The room was as described, but perhaps at bit more dated from the photos. Overall, a convenient place to stay for a couple nights on the island. "

"The only thing we did not like is that we wished we had stayed longer. The property provided transportation from the port and to drop us off at the port upon check out. Honda was incredibly helpful, outgoing and kind to us. The property and rooms are clean. A short walk to the main tourist attraction. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. We can't thank the staff enough for going above and beyond. "

"Yuumi and her team were so lovely and made us feel so welcome in Aka! They picked us up from the port even though it was a short way which was so helpful with our luggage. Hosei is right on the beach front and you can see the best sunset from here as well as relax in the day. It is so tranquil! We went during New Year and many places on the island were closed but they served food which was very traditional Japanese style. The rooms and shared bathroom/shower were always very very clean. "We loved this resort so much we are dreaming about the day we can comeback and stay longer. We felt truly spoiled staying here. A real five star experience. The pools were amazing and the view from the balcony was so beautiful. Everything from the kind staff and delicious buffet breakfast, couldn’t have been more perfect. There were restaurants on site to suit every budget including a little store that sold some snacks and drinks. We ate a couple of times at the soba noodle restaurant and it was great. There are not many places outside of the resort to eat. Even though we had a car, we were happen just relaxing at the resort. "
