「Short story, what was supposed to be a cheaper one night stay, ended up with a towed car and a towing bill. No mention of parking not being available in the complex in the listing. No mention of parking rules in the check in email. By the time I got clarification, I was already at a concert with my car left behind so I wouldn’t have to worry about looking for parking near the event. The irony doesn’t escape me.」

「Location was good. Looks to be an up-and-coming area. A little bit of a hike, but walkable to downtown. Check-in was easy however there was no parking pass or fob as promised. We had to find street parking. We were told they could drop off a parking pass, but not until the day we were checking out. After the first night, our door code was disabled and we were locked out. Luckily there was quick communication with the host and they were able to remotely reset the code. Blinds on patio door didn’t...

「Very nice apartment in newer building. Walking distance to all kinds of neat locations including the state capital Trumans restaurant has great food and breakfast starting at 7am. As a Canadian staying in a strange city.. this place fit the bill. Highly recommended for the price and location. A」

「This apartment was perfect for my needs while I was taking part in 2 athletic events in Des Moines. My scheduled travel partner was not able to attend leaving me as a single female. With codes to external & internal doors and a quiet building and neighborhood, I felt very safe. I was even able to shelter in the basement gym, during a tornado alert. The apartment was comfortable and spacious and Mac added lots of useful extras. He was also a quick and helpful communicator. I would definitely stay...

「Perfect spot for my needs. I am a retired traveler, and this place had everything I needed. The photos are accurate, the apartment was very clean, and everything worked properly. It is in a great location with plenty of restaurants and nightlife within walking distance (the Thai restaurant in the building was a huge bonus). It is in walking distance of the Capitol Building, the sculpture garden, and Gray's Lake. It is on a major surface road, but there was zero noise in the apartment....
