「The Gillen House is a perfect destination if you are looking for a relaxing and peaceful getaway that is close to Athens and not too far away from Atlanta. The hosts, Edward and Cynzia, were very welcoming and made us feel at home. The food at breakfast was excellent. Especially the steaks and sides that we had for dinner on our arrival evening. The room was spotless and perfect. We definitely enjoyed our stay!」

「We only stayed one night after we attended a concert in the area. We didn't arrive until close to midnight and had to leave the very next morning so we didn't get to enjoy the facilities. The camper was nice and spacious for the two of us. Bed was comfortable but a little tight to move around. But I really don't expect much space in a camper. I wish we could've enjoyed the pool and hot tub but didn't have time. We had a little difficulty finding the place but it was the middle of the night so...

「The facility is fine and low key and clean, the staff is helpful and friendly. The breakfast is a simple continental breakfast with coffee and pastries. The lady that sets up the breakfast is fantastic and goes out of her way to make the best of it.」

「Air conditioning was nice and cold, but it was leaking water onto the carpeted area throughout the night. The beds were average comfortability however, the pillows could have been larger or more to prop up with. The comforters were very thin, so when the air conditioner was blowing cold, we were freezing. 「It would be nice if real people left real reviews. This property is located in a small town with under 5 hotel businesses. I traveled 14 hours for a family members funeral and was very disappointed upon arrival to this facility. It was infested with bugs. The clerk at the desk kept saying I can give you another room as if bugs don't travel. I asked the desk clerk to cancel my reservation and he refused. I did not stay here and was charged for the reservation even after trying to cancel the...

「It’s an older property, but the room was clean and fresh. There were loads of cigarette butts in the parking area. I moved to multiple spots, but they were everywhere. However, there had been no smoking in the room, nor did it reek of air fresheners. I am highly sensitive to smells, and the room was fine.」
