"We cannot say more about this hotel--excellent service; extremely kind and friendly staff; awesome game room with table tennis/pool/foosball, well stocked and clean gym, nightclub, lounge, rooms very spacious. There were fresh flowers and fruit as a welcome in our room. Room service menu was great and the restaurants on site also amazing. Also had transport to and from airport. We can't say enough. .Will definitely return!!"

"The Izaak Walton is just an amazing hotel and a great place to stay you get a very warm welcoming from the front desk staff and all the other hotel staff members too, they all make you feel at home too, the rooms are excellent very clean and spacious great WiFi service too, and the beds are so comfortable. The hotel is set in woodland and has a relaxing setting and calming, the restaurant is brilliant, great buffet breakfast too and a good choice menu for lunch and dinner there's always a waitress or waiter on hand to assist you nothing is any trouble and I got to know them by name because they're so friendly and warm to you, great food and coffee too ,and a well stocked friendly bar to chill in I've stayed in 3 hotels now in Embu but the Izaak is just miles ahead much better and will definitely return, I just want to thank everyone there, too many to mention but you're all amazing lovely people and I'll miss you, thank you.."

"The staff is friendly, welcoming and flexible. The place is cozy - it was just what I was looking for. Very good breakfast, nice green garden, and I felt it was easy to ask for things (for example, I moved rooms to get a better internet connection) and it was no problem. Plus, it's unbelievably affordable. I felt safe, at ease, and rested very comfortably here. Highly recommend."

"This is a generally good hotel with very friendly and attentive staff. It's a hotel that has a lot of room if you're going to be meeting with someone... Great to grab a little table and have a visit. There were two issues that kept me from giving a better review. I asked repeatedly if they could fix the TV which didn't work and clear the clog in the bathroom sink, which they never did. "
